Does anyone here know how to perform a wave dash in the game?

What's a wave dash? :P Sorry Don't know any of the moves by name :)

A wave dash, i believe, is a very advanced move used by those who have almost perfected the game. From what I gather, it is

1) Doing a short jump (barely above the ground)
2) immediatly doing an air dodge downwards (and slightly in the direction that you want to move)
3) immediatly after step 2 performing a move such as a roll, attack, or grab.

This allows for extremely fast movement if wave dashes are performed right after another, and allows for an attack after a dodge.

What I was looking for was some hints/tips in order to do a wave dash, as it is very hard to pull off even anywhere near consistantly.

Hmm... I'm not really good with them myself. I read up on them a few months ago and tried it out. I can do it about 50% of the time. I would just keep doing it over, and if you play with friends, every one in a while try to incorporate it into the match and keep doing it more and more (not so that it's predictable) as you play until you get it hands down. I think the only way to get it down is the old "practice makes perfect. :\

What does a wave dash do anyways?
I've never tried it or even heard of it until now. :P

Well, it's the fastest way of movement, and as endeavour mentioned, you can attack right after a dodge as well. It's almost a staple movement in tournament play (with the best players), but I never found it as useful as a lot of people do. Then again, I'm not a tournament player. :P

I'll just stick to my regular playing style! :)
Actually I forgot how my playing style is due to my injury! :P :roflol: :P

Yeah, unless you're going to use it to beat someone that is difficult to beat or using it for tournament play, there's probably no reason to hassle learning it (unless you want to learn every aspect of the game).

I just like beating other computer players and human players.
Nobody has ever beaten me!
Well some people beat me when I was just starting the game. :P

Wow, I've never even heard of that.

I must be really bad at this game :P.

I'm not the best at the game, I find wavedashing hard to do. I can manage it once in a while with Luigi, but not with anyone else.
I don't use Luigi anyway, well I do, but as a punching bag.

I've wavedashed with Luigi before, he's fast, so it's not that hard to do with him.

Otherwise, I nearly always use Falco, high jumps and incredible speed combine to make him such a vital character. Man.

Uhm, I read that Peach has healing properties. Is there any truth to those claims, if so, how?

I've never heard of Peach having healing properties. o_O
I don't think she does but she can float in the air for a short period of time. :P
I don't think she can because if she did how could she heal?

the only thing I can think of is that peach might randomly pull out a heart container, piece of food, or maxim tomato when she tries to pull out a turnip.

I know that there is a very slight chance that peach will pull out an item other than her turnip during her move (even with items turned off) and have personally seen a beam sword and a bomb appear this way.

Yeah she can do that while getting a turnip but that has a very,VERY,VERY small chance of happening.
But other than that no.
But she can float. :P
