I've found some good sites, but I really want more. I want to make a hotel in hot date, and there are no beds, and such. I don't even know how to download skins yet. Its harder with a mac so please excuse me. :P Does anybody know any good webstes? Or when The Sims 2 is coming out for macs? I would be forever greatful if you did.

Here is a website I go on, where you can get your sims to do new exercises, and have olympic diving boards.

It's a great site.

http://www.cheapfrills.org

Also, try looking on http://www.thesims.com for some great stuff, and also look on their list of Fan Sites

Ah but if I remember, The Sims Resource only has a few free items that you can download. Pity eh ? If you're a member and you can donate then thats fine, I'm sure you can get some decent items for free tho.

I use http://aroundthesims.online.fr/

Usually, the Sims expansion packs for we Mac users come out six months after the PC version is released. Since this isn't an expansion pack, and is much bigger, expect it to be released by Summer '05. Only good that comes out of our long wait is that we get far less glitches and bugs in the game. I like to think of all the PC Sims users as our beta-testers. 8)

Oh. And one of my personal Sims sites is Cómhair. It has objects, skins, heads, walls, floors, etc. etc. All are high quality. Really great site.

I don't know if they work on Mac, but you could try getting Sims Plus! SimsZip from http://www.simsplus.com

That's what I use - it's quicker too :)

I haven't been to many Sims download sites for ages, but http://www.simsos.cjb.net has quite a few good downloads.

One in particular I recommend is the Happiness Fruitcake. It's found under Objects -> Staff Objects -> Miscellaneous. Very useful ^_^

Gone, forever.

I don't know if the downloads work with mac, but this is my all-time favorite site for skins.

http://www.welldressedsim.com/

They have almost every type of skin, face, and shape imaginable. They've also got loads of furniture, so it's a site worth visiting. :)

(It's one of the links you can find under fansites on the sims website, btw. ;) )

Here are a few of my favourites:
http://www.different-worlds.net/SIMS/
Medieval stuff and celtic things

http://www.nighttimesims.no/
Now this is definately my favourite site. It is a bit gothic themed, but the also have some normal stuff. Their skins are simply fabulous.

http://www.oph3lia.com/index2.html
This one is more gothic, but it has really got great objects and skins. Especially the skins!

http://hrlnx.aem-east.com/slemmer/thenewsos/
All kinds of hacked objects

http://www.simslice.com/
THE place for hacked objects. They are really fun to use in the game.

If you've got alot of time on your hands, go here, and just try every site, and I'm deffinitely sure you'll find something for you.

http://www.jwittler.de/diesims/diesims.html
It's a simslink site.

I must warn you, though. If you get too caught up in downloads, that will be all that you're going to end up doing. I download so much more than I play the game. (I have over a fivethousand seperate downloads, I swear it!)

You also mentioned you were looking for hotel beds to use. I have some lodge ones, but if only I can remember where I got them! If you're desperate, I can send you the files. Just email me at mailto:avrg_loser@yahoo.com. I think I've got a pink, blue, and yellow one.

As a onetime Sims mac player, I know there are some things you have to be aware of - alot of the editing tools dont work on Mac, for instance, and you sometimes have to rename certain items due to character limits - but there is a decicated Mac community out there, and generally most items made by PC users are completly compatable, so any links recomended should be fine.

But try this site or this site for some dedicated Mac support. Also Persimmon Grove is a excellent site, with the added benefit of all the items being made by a Mac user.

For good anime skins check out

http://www4.big.or.jp/~sss-net/corry/english/

(best anime sim skin site I know. The FFX, FFX-2 skins are amazing!)

http://animesimscentral.fateback.com/

(Quality is not as high as the one above, but there are some excellent skins such as Faye and Spike from Cowboy Bebop)

Thank you so much! The first site is amazing! They even have Chibi-Usa from Sailor Moon ^.^

Edit: How do you get them to work in the game? Thanks!
