Oh yeah, for those who wanted to know about MS in a window...

http://kronia.tripod.com/uploads/d3d8.dll
Save that to the MS folder where everything else is (the files).
Use Internet Explorer for the link because it sometimes doesn't work in other browsers.
Make sure the game's NOT running when you save it.
Set your screen resolution to 1024x768 or the window won't work.

I tried it, I liked it. I found this at sleepywood, where it has been checked for viruses and found to be fine. It worked perfectly, but, don't blame me if something goes wrong. I'm passing on imformation here.

That's really odd. I tried it, but it's just perpetually superimposed upon the left top sorner of the screen. is it supposed to do that?

What's even more odd, is that when I tried to play the Beta version using that download, you could actually remove it from your screen or move the window around. Didn't seem to work for the "for real" version though. :(

And now I can't get on at all.

Okay... The server is just down...
They;ve done this about, umm... 3 times this week!!! What is going on?

Fri Oct 21, 2005 2:08 pm

I hope it has something to do with major updates, like 3rd job advancements and so on, but that's probably ...not it.

I am getting so bored...
The updates and "Server Checks" are taking up way too much time! I hardly even play the game anymore.

In time... in time... :P
Well, Cash Shop is pretty big, and there have been a few errors attached to that.

Hehe, though, to be honest, how many of us would be able to make the 3rd job?

I want Ludi most. Oh, dragonz, your buddy list was full when I tried to add you. What is your timezone?

Sat Oct 22, 2005 12:01 am

My timezone is well, Australian. I can;t remember what it's called though. Try adding me again... I was adding alot of people in Maple Island.

It's down ...again?!

The thought of them adding a new quest for Halloween makes me feel a bit better though. :P

Special Halloween stuff does sound good. i just hope that if they do it, the weak people can take part also

when it comes to sunglasses, they should add a wep def and magic def or just wep def.

- The Halloween event quest will be conducted for one week. Ria of Kerning City is looking for Maplers to Trick or Treat with, and she is willing to offer a nice Halloween pumpkin basket in exchange for some candies. Enjoy yourself in the spirit of Halloween, as you'll see monsters wandering around town trick or treating with you. Don't worry, they won't bother you one bit.

- The candy will be dropped by the Jr. Wraiths and Coolie Zombies wandering around hunting grounds near Kerning City and Sleepywood. Don't worry, they won't attack back, so feel free to attack them!

That's brilliant. :D

It's awesome, but it brings out a whole new level of ksing and looting. i can hardly do anything because of the clerics that kill them in one hit. i think i have like 5 candies. i hope i'll be able to sell them for massive amounts because i don't think i can get 250

Oh man, i went to a market, and the worst you can do with candies is 1k each. it's so cool. i made 11k after like 5 minutes of work. and now i guess i won't be able to do anything anymore

Sleepywood is less crowded than Kerning, if that helps. :P

I got the basket, and I might sell it for ...200-300k if I get bored with it.
But it was such a waste of training time.
