Hi I am considering buying a PSP but I have a few questions hopefully someone can answer :)

Do you have to buy the memory cards to save games? I heard they are mega expensive

Can you download games from the internet onto it? or do you have to buy them

Is it worth it?

Thanks thats all I can think of now :)

I have played both the DS and PSP and even though I'm a Nintendo Boy I must say the PSP is the better console. The big drawback which doesn't make me regret buying the DS is that it costs nearly twice as much but if money aint a thang then PSP all teh way :)

Eh, I've played both briefly (I own neither, though I really need one for my breaks in college x_x), and to be honest, I don't care much for the DS (though Nintendogs is starting to place a curse on me >_>), and the PSP costs to much for me to afford. If money wasn't an issue, I'd buy a PSP, memory stick, and a game right on the spot, but unfortunately, I must spend the money on more important things. :\

Don't remember the cost of the memory stick, but, right now, I'd buy one just to watch Final Fantasy Advent Children when it comes out later this month. :P Either way, it's difficult to tell anyone if something it worth it or not as people are going to get a different impression from different things. ;)

You can buy FFVII: AC on DVD...

And memory sticks cost anywhere from like $30 to like $300. As for DS or PSP...well....just check my sig for my answer!

The memory card in the bundle pack should be enough to keep you good for a long while, unless you want to format it and store video or music on it, then you should definitely get a bigger one. In a good shop, a 1 GB card runs for about 130$.

Lucky Americans.

In Aus, you'd be hardput to find a 1 GB card for under $400.

Just as a comparison, the 'Value-Pack' is roughly $400, give or take $10 depending on the shop :P Games are $50- $70

So for me, it's not worth it. At least not yet. Once the hype dies down and the price is cut to about a third of the original, I'll buy it, the it will definately be worth it.
