I definitely think Voldie put the potion there. He was very brilliant at school, and especially he was a favourite of Slughorn's, so he probably had no difficult in making it.
And since the horcrux is very important to him, I don't think he'd trust anyone else to go there.

One reason why I think it is really R.A.B is that Kreacher was his house-elf [sort of] so he could have had Kreacher drink the potion for him. This is also backing up a theory that someone else had about a house-elf.
This also means that Harry could ask Kreacher [who belongs to him now anyway] how/if the Horcrux was destroyed. If/When he found out.

I noticed in the fourth book that Mr Weasly poured Mrs. Weasly a glass of Ogdens firewhiskey. Then in the six book when Harry and Dumbledore had there first meeting they were talking about Bob Ogden. I don't really have a theory for weather it actuly means something or if J.K ran out of names, but just something I noticed.....

On the Harry having his mothers green eyes, reading the fourth book again it said that when the Avada Kedavara was performed it was a jet of green light. Harrys scar is right above his eye.
It could also [possibly] be that:
[quote=wind]Would it just be a way to make Harry different from James?[/quote]
.....

Got some news on the fourth film:

Apparently it is completed, and I have got a picture of who will be playing Lord Voldemort:

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000146/photogallery

To me he doesn't look like a voldemort. You can see other pictures of the crew at:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0330373/

They unfortunately don't have the pictures for who will play Lilly and James Potter up yet. :(

Anyway, all I can think of for now. ;)

I imagine Lily and James are played by the same people we saw in PoA, in the whirly photograph of angst.

I believe they are, if you click on the actors' names.

PoA wrote:
"Expelliarmus!" [Harry] yelled - except his wasn't the only voice that shouted. There was a blast that made the door rattle on its hinges; Snape was lifted off his feet and slammed into the wall, then slid down to the floor, a trickle of blood oozing from under his hair. He had been knocked out.

So. There's an overzealous Disarming Charm in action. Can't imagine why the fact that Snape's Killing Curse not only killed him, but also sent him flying, is a boon to the Clingers. It just shows the level of animosity Snape has, which naturally exceeds that involved in any other Killing Curse we have seen.

Apparently someone close to Jo Rowling confirmed Regulus Arcturus Black as RAB... I hope it's true!

For the lazy ones who don't want to make the effort:

Arcturus: the fourth brightest star in the sky and the brightest star in the constellation Boötes, approximately 36 light-years from Earth.

Personally, I want the rumor to be false. I want it to be either R. A. Borgin or Regulus Alphard Black: Borgin because that would be a cool twist, and Alphard because it would give us a good chance of finding out about the Alphard who left Sirius his fortune, and I've been dying to know.

I agree with Tharkun, I'd rather it be Borgin.

also, I highly doubt that she would be telling anyone who RAB was other than those who absolutely need to know, and they wouldn't go around blabbing it, so I don't see why anyone would be able to confirm that theory.

Yeah, but still, it probably is Regulus. There are certainly enough foils to Sirius in the Black family to spare one. And there is that locket, and the unexplained Mundungus appearance in HBP. Could be something other than Arcturus, though. Likely is.

You know, it's not a good sign when the Lexicon swallows that sort of thing. I mean, isn't it the #1 stop for fanfic research?

EDIT: Aigh. My 535th post. I'm going to make another one ASAP - that number still riles me.

It's just... too predictable to be Regalus. I don't think it is.

That's what all the people who thought the Order of the Phoenix was something other than Dumbledore's anti-Voldemort force said.

I still think that Regalus is far, far too predictable for JKR.
