Porobably just the pigeon more like.

as or the Turtle *has "master of disguise flashbacks* take it to the vet, if memory serves it actually illegal to keep wild animals without a checkup.
course that might not apply wherever you live (didnt, and wont look at location) so... o_O

Heh, it turned out that the turtle was somebody's pet. We went to the door of the house closest to the place we found him, and they said it was theirs, but they had lost him a year ago. XD

Thanks for the advice anyway! ^^;

Awwww, I'm so glad they got their turtle back. Been gone for a year, wow...Figures he was still in the neighborhood though. I can't see a turtle running full speed hundreds of miles away.
Glad to know the turtle is okay though! :)

It was probably going to die anyway.

That and pigeons...well, they're not rare, and they're not particularly pleasant. It's not like saving the life of a fox or something- which they will do because you don't see them all that often.

Regardless if it's rare or not I don't think it's appropriate to kill it. But that's just my view on things.

Anyways, I'm glad they got their turtle back! Tha's great. :D

Wild animals, even if they're turtles, aren't really good pets.

Don't tell that to my father. He's had a box turtle living in our house since 1985 (his name is Leslie). By 1989, the turtle had stopped being fed raw vegetables and crickets, and now gets nothing but the finest steamed produce, cooked beef, and the occasional treat of Kentucky Fried Chicken.

He also likes having his neck and the top of his head rubbed. And sitting in laps (he'll nibble at the toes of your shoes if he wants picked up).

All in all, it's really disgusting.

Awww that's not disgusting.. I think it's rather cute actually. :P heh
How weird would that be though.. someone not familiar with the house comes over... feels something nibbling their shoe.. look down and it's a turtle wanting to be picked up O_O rofl How cute!
