OK, what am I? A target for crazy neomailers?

Zenial, I got one of those a while back. Some guy telling me that the Lord Kass plushie I had on the TP was too low-priced. He had the nerve to tell me that we should all raise our prices to at least a million. My guess is that he was an over-inflater and once "we" all raised our prices, he would undercut us so his would sell and ours would sit. Needless to say, I didn't go for it.

Yeah that was probably the reason. Or he was just being weird.

By the way Morningstar, do you need a babysitter? I live on another continent, but that shouldn't be a problem

Weeeird. The weirdest neomails I get are people begging for something, or asking me if I'm fluent in so-and-so language.

hmm... wierd mails... I've been asked 6 times in the past 2 days to "take their account"
The rest of the mails include: do you want to, like, be my neo-friends, cos, like i'm realli poor, and like, you're like really rich...

That comes with being on the Chat Boards i guess...

At this point, I just gave up. Neopets needs... like a newbie training course or something that you HAVE to pass before making an account

I chat occasioally on a few forums. Neocolours and neoitems are my two other main ones other than this forum. I was more active on the nbn forum, but the activity kind of died there.

What puzzles me is that I was only like 12th place on swarm 2 with a bronze trophy, and yet I still get people neomailing me asking how I got such a high score, how long it took, and any suggestions or tips in game play.

I politely reply, but mention that my score isn't the highest on there.

I figure either they mass neomail the people with the top 15-20 scores, or do what I do occasionally. Sometimes when I'm puzzled, I'll neomail the 3rd or 4th place person instead of the 1st place person.


And someone else mentioned earlier about someone creating an account with the name as their pet. It happened to one of mine and I'm sure that they saw my pet and deliberately named their account that way because it was my pet. The reason I'm very sure of it is because the name was one I made up and I had never heard or known the name even existed. Wasn't until I did a google search that I found a few people named (my pet's name). But even then I'm only looking at the results of two or three people in the world.

So they couldn't have found the name so easily anywhere else. And I also found an account with my real life last name and another with my initials. Both accounts were created long after I created my account and I'm not sure, but may have also been created arround the same time.

I think someone may be stalking me. It could be just a simple coincidence, but I still keep an eye on those accounts just in case they think they can steal my art.

I'm getting a weird one right now from one of my former guildmates. See I run the Guild food donation shop and I had this thing where is someone donated more then 5000 they would get a free codestone, and this one person spent like 20000 so I gave her her codestones. and she instantly left the guild. Then this night she neomailed me and asked for a free codestone. I told her no, and then she told how she had to abanbaded all her pets because they were REALLY sick and two of them were painted baby, plus she lost all her money.
I told her she could have just gone to the healing springs and she says that something came up land told het to abanden her pets. I asked if it was like a random event or something, she said no, I asked if it was a pop-up or something. She said no again. She said it was like a note. I got the impression more and more that this was just a pity letter. She then replied and said that I didn't believe, I said no and she got all mad and told me not to bothor to reply. So I didn't, and I really disbelive that she was that rich, I mean she was buying out of my shop like crazy, getting a bri codestone for every 5000 she spent, while they are worth about 3000. And man, if she did get like a pop up or something that told her to abanden all her pets, and actually did it, it would be pretty sad.

okay i have had one weird talk with someone, so i was searching for a guild on the guild boards and all of a sudden i got a neomail and it said " dont believe the other people, they are all fakes join my real, active, guild which is just one click away"

I tried to tell her nicely that i had already joined a guild, but then i got another email from her.

"everyone calls my layout a copy "

just to be nice i said "im sure its not a copy"

then she said " IT IS A COPY!" and started complaining. my answer to these next neomails were just okay , and after a few more neomails i just said i gg .

its not really weird, lol but i wanted to post it.

I get lots of odd neomails as i am a guild leader with over 300 members (was over 1000 but the whole freezing thing anyway)

I get tons of people who neomail me and are like

I want XXXX from your shop/gallery. I am in your guild

Umm yeah.. let me just give you all my items right away!

You should add XXXX to your guild. I would be c00l.

Usually I already have what they asked for.

And now i get premium mails from new members

Person: You have the neomail avatar that is really rare. Can you give it to me
Me: You need premium for it now i think (i explain what premium is and that neo charges for it)
Person: I ways wated premium. No 1 will refer me. I wand it.
Me: Well when i can refer i'll send you one
Person: Do i have to pay?
Me: Neo charges you for it..
Person: Can you pay for me?
Me: No
Person: what are you getting me again?

And it went on and on...

And this one i had happen a month or so ago. It was a huge headache!!

Person: Hey you bought an Item from my shop for really cheap but it was supposed to go to my friend
Me: Oh i am sorry, I'll put up a trade and just bid the amount i spent on the item and you can have ti back

I'm really sorry to bump this from so long ago, but I got this neomail out of nowhere and found it funny... Background story: On my lookup I have a space that say my current, favorite, and most wanted avatar. My most wanted is the Lupe Asplode, which I don't have because I refuse to lose a battle and tarnish my BD record over some silly number in my lookup, an av I'll never use, no less.
