Then Santa must be nasty because he has all this technology/magic for time travel etc and he won't share it with scientists!

I mean, it's very obvious. If he told the world then he'd end up getting paid so much that the North Pole will become the Gold Rush.

The raindeers: "Are piles of ashes." or "Have prolly half the population pulling santa's sleigh" or "Have a device that tells the kid's past, and their general good-badness."

Santa has: "Time machines" or "a super magical red sleigh" or "A time frezer." Or "A shrink ray"
