Whales :'( I can't even look at a picture of one without going hysterical.
Other things I'm scared of are trees, clowns, porcelain dolls, the wind, big waves and the sound of stormy sea and maggots
Horrible horrible stuff

Eeep! I'm scared of clowns too, especially those that has huge eyes and wander around in the dark

And those blythe dolls? I'm a tad afraid of them...those huuuuge eyes. (they're really expensive

)
Also those huge mascots...like the ones which people wear? I'm scared of them...no idea why. They just give me the instinct to hide or run away and not get near them.

Why are girls afraid of so many stuff?

I mean, come on, but trees?

I'm scared of sea coral. I can look at pictures and the like, or the shallow stuff. But swiming above the stuff that's more than a few metres below me is horrible.

Polystyrine is worse.

I'm not aware of any extreme phobias I have, though a more minor one is Driving Phobia, which doesn't really bother me as of yet, until I get to the point where I'll actually have to drive (the only real time so far being in Driver's Ed).
I'm not exactly sure what characterizes a phobia, but I usually freeze up and stare blankly at it for periods of time when I see a roach (and possibly some other types of insects that I haven't encountered yet). I'm not quite sure where that has gone since I haven't been around any in a while (though every time I think I see something little move in the corner of my eye, I believe that it's a roach).
I used to be deathly afraid of spiders. So badly that I wouldn't even knock on my best friend's front door one night and stood there for at least 20 minutes looking at the big red thing. I ended up going in the back where it was pitch black just so if there was one, that I wouldn't be able to see it. (I was about 13 - 14 mind you) >_> Now, unless the spiders jump or are huge, I don't have a problem with them, I think.
That's about it, though, as I mentioned, I'm not quite sure if I have the last two any longer, and I'm pretty good at avoiding them... somehow.

I have a phobia of zombies. Not the voodoo type but like the fake movie eat your brains kind.
I've said this in many other threads before, but the thought of them being real really scares the bejebus out of me.
Think it all ties together with the fear of being alone.
Just recently (going on for a couple of months) a fear that I had when I was little is coming back. It's a general one of being afraid of big juicy looking bugs, like slugs, grubs, and caterpillars.
Specially grubs now.. the way they pulsate when they move.. or the way they turn black and let out this foul ooze when they die *shudders* making me feel gross just talking about it.
Not one that's as strange, but I hav a big phobia of roaches.
I hate them with a passion.
I hate even walking by a dead one (even a dead one that has been smooshed to oblivion) because I always think that somehow it's faking and it's going to crawl right on me when I pass.
I used to be scared to death when I let my dogs outside at night, b/c I have to walk in this backroom we have that used to be infested with those big nasty things. Used to be scared they would fall on me or down my shirt or something.
Luckily though we got some kinda roach stuff that makes the roaches sterile and now.. other than the occasional stray one.. we don't have a roach problem any longer.

Well, I'm afraid that if I stick my arm out of a car window, a crazy man will jump onto the road with a machete and hack it off. I can't leave my door open at night because I'm afraid someone will shoot me.
Oh, and I can't stop the song Sixth Station from Spirited Away. If I'm listening to it before class and the bell rings, I have to pause it and finish listening to it before I can turn anything else on. Dunno why, it's one of those obsessive-compulsive-type things I do.

What's not to be afraid of?

*blink* You're weird, Soph.
I'm afraid of escalators.

I'm "afraid of" flowers and hearts. Meaning that I can't touch or look at them or a picture of them, and sometimes when they're close to me, I feel like I shouldn't breathe because they're in my air.

Hobo's aren't scary. At least the one's I've met aren't.

Singing in public. Seriously, I go all funny and have panic attacks. I've fainted a couple of times too. I just tense up completly and go rigid. I won't even sing in front of my mom!
Fri May 20, 2005 2:24 am
I'm afraid of loud breathing. I'm not too sure why... I think it's because they shouldn't be breathing that loud and they are and something is wrong and THEY'RE GOING TO DIE RIGHT THEN AND THERE! THEY'RE DYING, DYING ALL AROUND MEEEEE!!! >_O;;
...yep, that's my strange phobia-doohickey. I also have a phobia of spiders, but that's not very interesting so nyeh.

I have a fear kinda like that.
Well minus the crazy person part.
I'm just afraid that if I stick my arm out the window some idiot who can't drive is going to smash into the side of the car and take my arm with them.
Kinda off topic.. I have had a pretty scary experience in a car that I'm surprised hasn't made me more paranoid.
I remember being in the backseat with my cousin.. and suddenly the backseat door flys open while we're moving and I'm clinging onto it for dear life so I don't fall out.
