Okay - So I have been trying to make brushes in Photoshop (7.0). Anyway, I open up the brushes palette, edit them until I am satisfied, and use them a bit. Soon after, no matter what I do, they revert to their original settings (close together, crowded, etc.). How can I get my brushes to STAY THE WAY I WANT THEM!?!?!?!?!?!?! Thank you to anyone who can help.

The answer to my troubles is prob'ly painfully obvious, but I am getting really frustrated.
