They want to execute someone and they think "Why not kill her first since she lived so long the last game". I highly doubt there's any real logic behind any of it. And don't believe that any more than one of those were "random"

Hate to bring to this back on topic...

I used to feel that there always needed to be an execution each day as not executing just gave the baddies an opportunity to kill the innocents without any fighting back.

But, in big complex games with lots of likely roles, I've watched over and over again seeing an important innocent killed on the first day.

In simple games, with one mystic type and 3 baddies, then the odds say that a first day execution is unlikely to kill an important innocent role.

But, with big games there tend to be more important innocent roles and an early execution of an innocent can lose the entire game.

So, I've now changed to thinking that Day 1 executions aren't good unless there is really evidence against someone. After that first Day/Night there is usually some evidence, but not now. so

I must say I agree with you, NPM. Three games in a row now, two very important roles were lost on the first day. Luckily, I hadn't voted for two out of the three, and I would hate to start doing so now.

Either way it doesn't look like anyone has reason to kill anyone the first day and won't get the votes anyway. In a game this large I think it is just as likely for the Mafia and the wolves to kill each other as it is for them to kill innocents. And we really don't have enough information to make a decision (everyone hasn't even posted yet!) So, until I get cause, I'm withdrawing my votes. This may change if something comes up.
