The big screen and the small screen... together at last! Hurrah!

I think Charlie's only affliction at the moment is that little bag of whatever drug it is supposed to be that he stashed in the toliet. I'm sure everyone will end up having some random secret that no one else knows about at the moment {possibly on top of the secrets that the audience already knows about}.

Haha, I remember the part when Jack said that he needed specific types of medicine (the names escape me). The first thing I thought was "Ask Charley, he's over there with some right now..."

The show itself is interesting, to say the least. My first impression was Jurassic Park, like a lot of other people, but I was really surprised when the overall plot made me forget about the trees moving and focus on the characters involved. I like the random strange and obsessive characters that were thrown in.
When I saw the handcuff scene, I actually assumed that the orange peel man was the criminal. >.< Did anyone else just to that assumption?
The recording was a great touch. I really liked that scene. Although, that blonde girl is really getting on my nerves and the fact that she threw a fit like that just made me want to smack her even more.
I said it in a previous post I think... heh..
But the show is a regular series.
According to interviews... the first season only takes place the first 40days they're on the island. (each episode takes 1-2days)
So if they wanted to.. they could drag the show out for a long long time.
If you want to assume that the person in the message never got off the island in 16yrs well... there ya go.. there's your series. (of course doubt it'll last that long but you get the point)
And I also thought that when they found the handcuffs.. then I thought they they're probably going to try to make it out like that "tough" white guy is the criminal and etc etc...

XD I was thinking the same thing. **cracks up**
Of course... I insist on calling him "The Hobbit"
Me: OMG The Hobbit has drugs!
Amarise... fur colour is not the only thing that differentiates polar bears from other bears. They have an elongated head (for lack of a better adjective) and I believe their paws differ some.
I <3 polar bears.
I'm totally loving this show. It's orchestrated so well, the way things are being revealed so slowly and precisely is so smart. It's kind of like a soap opera, in the way that it tells you enough to get you interested, but it still leaves you hanging so you'll keep coming back for more.

I

polar bears.
Yeah, I know, that was my point. The people didn't actually *show* the bear long enough for us to see what it really was. There was no real way for us to know that it was an actual polar bear, because all they showed was the white fur. I love nature specials, so I pick up random useless info that I like to spout at times.

I won't get to see tonight's episode

I have to go to a fellow students house and film a video for my Spanish class... and my VCR is broken. I sure hope they show reruns eventually...

I want to wack the doctor over the head with something for not leting her say what she did!
Stupid script writters are probubly going to use that to hold our interest in the series, so I bet the season finalie will end with her
just about to say what she did....Just so people will watch the second season.
Ohh... it sounds like somebody else is going to get eaten...any bets?
Thu Oct 07, 2004 4:20 am
If someone gets eaten, I'm hoping it's the jerky southern guy (the one that shot the cop). I can't stand him.
I MUST know what Kate did. For some reason... I'm guesing whatever she did, she did do it, but she's regretful of it. It was possibly even a mistake.
I like how tonight's episode ended really happily for everyone. Everyone's starting to get along, putting aside their differences. I love how the old man made the whistle and found the boy's dog ^__^

At the end when Locke is staring at that guy and his son (I can only assume that's what he was staring at ), right away my nephew said "Oh, he doesn't like them! Look how he's looking at them!" I said "How do you know?? You don't know anything. He could be squinting because the sun is in his eyes". So we got into a big argument about if he hates them or not.

I really enjoy the show so far! I can't wait till next week, my brother thinks its going a tad slow, but I like it.
Fri Oct 08, 2004 7:12 pm

The show is so suspenseful...
I definitely cannot wait until episode 7 (The Moth).

Show is soo good! Yeah, the fishing scene was funny; I want them to show the monsters now on the island!
Mon Oct 18, 2004 5:23 pm
Yeah, the fishing scene was funny.
I felt soooo bad for Charlie when he found out that Shannon had just used him to catch a fish. Poor him
I despise Shannon even more than I did.
Anyways, I cannot wait to see Wednesday's episode...
