I heard that English fans are so enthusiastic and loyal that they got a yellow card for violence. :P

Though I don't see Switzerland and Croatia being a problem for England.

Yeah, but you never know!

England like to play with long crosses, and they 99% loose the ball that way, hope they advance to the next round!

Hahaha, ahhh oh well. Wales and Scotland aren't even in anymore.

and I think Croatia and Switzerland won't be too easy.

Wales lost out on a technicality, we know which country would be crying if they lost to a team where out of the three players tested 1 was found with drugs. If you want my opinion Russia should have been chucked out. Anyway.

The English side were so convinced of their own superiority on the pitch that they seem to have forgotten how to play. In the end England didnt deserve to win, The reason, if you're going to play as if you have won the game, wait until you've won it, then you may be as cocky as you want. And never infront of France, as soon as Heskey made his oh so brilliant tackle the match was over, Zidane with his perfect free kick, and England were disheartned, Moral rock bottom, their first win in the first match of the european tournament snatched away from them in a foolish mistake. After then, the second was going to come. England however seemed pleased to play as if the game was over when they were drawing, and a cocky pass from gerrard went straight to possibly the worst person to have in your box. I do however feel sory for David James, He will get alot of the stick for that, it was plain to see after the game when the commentators were havign a go at him for commiting, what was he ment to do, Let player of the year run unoticed in his box.

All in all England thought they had it set, Both in football and Rugby, and well, this is just a good day to be Welsh isnt it?

well there was something about england beating new zealand at something because it said it was a major whitewash and an upset.

I support england but I don't really care whether they get through or not. Football doesn't really interest me anymore, but even I was disappointed with them last night! I mean, really, what was Gerrard doing???

And afterwards, my Dad said that the odds on France beating England were 7:1 if I'd known that, I would've put money on.

Yup, a 3 test whitewash for England. Good on them. Cricket >>>>>football.

I was at a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert last night...when Flea announced

"Good news! I hear England got the ____ kicked out of them!"

*stadium cheers*
*stadium is Murrayfield in Edinburgh*

Arrr! I've had enough of this subject!!!! My whole school keeps going on about it IT'S A SODDING GAME!! A POXY LITTLE GAME!!!

On the other hand, English pride has gone and most of my friends have a prejudice against the French anyway (history, R.E. and French lessons play a large part in this) so I can see their point

Yea it's a shame. I blame Gerard! What was he doing??! To be cruel, I did laugh when "Golden Balls" Beckham missed that penalty. Ha! Not so golden now are we?! Muahahahahaha *cough, hack*

It was a good save by Barthez though, you can't really blame Beckham for that, but you can blame him for nearly everything else.

Easy. Anything can happen in two minutes. Especially when like the whole england team was tired, and they thought had it written on stone that they were going to win. So they were playing it easy.

That game was just painful, I wanted England to win too. I thought I was watching a game with Italy, this is the kind of thing that always happens to them, they always lose at the last minute.

On the other hand I though it was hilarious when the ball smacked Barthez straight in the face :P It made me feel a lot better.

I was so angry with letting 2 goals in in the last two minutes though. It's so stupid when I think about it.
