has been a similar discussion (40k film) on portent for a bit, apparently games workshop have had LOADS of offers, but theyve refused them all because the director refuses to give full control to GW (because they dont want some random women saving the emporer from horus for example
)
ive been annoying my brother all day to buy me this when it comes out, i wants chaos!
and itd be even better if you could chose which greater daemon to get.. (have them with the same stats etc, just a skin change basicly, we already have other units with such a change, why not the daemons?

Quote:
Imperial Sky (Tune: American Pie)
A long, long time ago
the storytellers remember
how the Imperium once was whole.
How humanity found their way
Amongst the stars it's hard to say,
Without the Emperor's key guiding role.
Yet I am still left to wonder,
The galaxy did once rip asunder,
Horus on the threshold,
Traitor whispers now told.
I can't remember if they cried,
when Blood Angels saw Sanguinus fried.
or if their anger went deep inside,
The day the Emp'ror died.
Refrain:
So bye, bye to our Imperial Sky,
Drove the legions to the regions
of the terrible Eye.
And choirs kept watch
and the augurs did scrye
Singing, "watch out for this Abbadon guy"
"Watch out for this Abbadon guy."
Did you write the book of war,
Or remember what we're fighting for?
If the commissar tells you so?
Do you believe in heavy guns,
or in the faith of warlike nuns?
and can you teach me to see the real foe?
Well, I know that you're a-purging sin,
chasing foul Daemons and unholy kin.
You both kicked some major butt,
and sliced open that 'thirster's gut!!
I was a lonely inquistor's acolyte,
Who was looking to get into the fight,
And I knew that I had seen the light,
the day the Emp'ror died.
Refrain:
And I was singing,
Bye, bye to our Imperial Sky,
Drove the legions to the regions
of the terrible Eye.
And choirs kept watch
and the augurs did scrye
Singing, "watch out for this Abbadon guy"
"Watch out for this Abbadon guy."
For ten millennia we've been on our own,
with the Emperor in his Golden Throne.
But Chaos does still infiltrate.
When Gullieman wrote his Codex down,
No one man should seek a crown.
So chapters came from legions great.
Yet when the Heresy dust had given 'way,
The loyal primarchs all went away.
The terran high lords now did rule,
Yet we should not be so fooled!
The taint and the scourge is everywhere,
Chaos whispers, rogue psykers tear
This is the load that we must bear
Since the day the Emp'ror died.
Refrain:
And we were singing,
bye, bye to our Imperial Sky,
Drove the legions to the regions
of the terrible Eye.
And choirs kept watch
and the augurs did scrye
Singing, "watch out for this Abbadon guy"
"Watch out for this Abbadon guy."
Chaos hordes and the Black Legion,
Have not remained in that damned region,
Spewing forth in his dark crusades.
Abbadon has vowed in his own turn
His foulest oath, "Let the galaxy burn!"
Our vigilance must not fade!
Now a new invasion has commenced,
We try to stage our best defence,
We've been called to give it all,
Cadia, must not fall!
"Cause if the Gate falls into Abby?s grip,
Then our hold on chaos will have slipped,
It will certainly be our worst trip,
Since the Emp'ror died.
But we're still singing,
Bye, bye to our Imperial Sky,
Drove the legions to the regions
of the terrible Eye.
And choirs kept watch
and the augurs did scrye
Singing, "watch out for this Abbadon guy"
"Watch out for this Abbadon guy."
So we're now all here gathered in one place,
Armies of millions and a tear in space,
Waiting for the tide to break.
Typhus comes on his infested hulk,
Nurgle's rot from his own bulk,
Leaving destruction in his wake.
And as I saw the spreading plague,
My fists were clenched in fists of rage,
The traitors we must repel,
or face a living hell.
And as the Shadow crept over Cadia?s face,
A thousand warp ships entered space,
This was easily the the worst case,
since the day the Emp'ror died.
And I was singing,
Bye, bye to our Imperial Sky,
We drove the legions to the regions
of the terrible Eye.
And choirs kept watch
and the augurs did scrye
Singing, "watch out for this Abbadon guy"
"Watch out for this Abbadon guy."
And as the explosions shatter round,
We try to remember a happier sound,
But the vox-casters are speaking doom.
I steel myself, and bolter drawn
With purity seals and powersword on,
The enemy comes through the gloom.
And in the streets, some daemons screamed,
Sergeants cried, and lascannons beamed
But there was no time for speech
My armour had a new breach.
And as the round hit high in my chest,
I winced in pain, but did my best,
With my last breath I confessed,
The day the Emp'ror died.
And I was singing,
Bye, bye to our Imperial Sky,
We drove the legions to the regions
of the terrible Eye.
And choirs kept watch
and the augurs did scrye
Singing, "watch out for this Abbadon guy"
"Watch out for this Abbadon guy."
Bye, bye to our Imperial Sky,
We drove the legions to the regions
of the terrible Eye.
And choirs kept watch
and the augurs did scrye
Singing, "watch out for this Abbadon guy"
"Watch out for this Abbadon guy."
