The Underwater Chef is a Flotsam chef who runs the Kitchen Quest. He works as Mumbo Pango's cook on Mystery Island. He is frequently overwhelmed by his workload as Mumbo Pango demands meals every 5 minutes, and seeks help by asking for help finding ingredients in the Kitchen Quest.
The Underwater Chef used to live in Old Maraqua serving King Koi's Royal Family of Maraqua, for whom he did the original Kitchen Quest, but relocated to Mystery Island with some other Maraquan shopkeepers when Maraqua was destroyed. He has remained on Mystery Island since it has been rebuilt.
