The Daily Dare has returned to Neopets!

Play various games against AAA and Abigail throughout the month of March to earn daily prizes, and the chance for a grand prize at the end of the month.
Daily Dare Rules wrote:
* Before choosing your Daily Dare challenge, you might want to practice the game a few times. Once you select a Challenge, your choice cannot be changed.
* Once you feel confident in your skills, choose the score of either AAA or Abigail as the one that you would like to try to beat. To make your selection, click the link under the picture of either AAA or Abigail.
* Once your score has topped that of your selected challenger, send your score and come back to the Daily Dare page to collect your prize!
* Even if you decide to take on AAA's score and come up short, you will automatically be credited for a win over Abigail if the score you send is higher than hers. However, when doing this, you will not receive either AAA or Abigail's daily prize for this game.
* Not only could your participation play a role in freeing AAA and Abigail, but there are additional prizes for true gamers!
o The Ultimate Prize - Beat AAA's score on the launch day of all the games.
o Uberiffic - Beat all of Abigail's scores or a combination of AAA's and Abigail's scores on the launch day of every game.
o Megasuperb - Beat AAA's scores for all of the games by the end of the Daily Dare.
o Spifftastic - Beat all of Abigail's scores or a combination of AAA's and Abigail's scores for all of the games by the end of the Daily Dare.

Thanks, munduses. It feels really good to finally accomplish something you've been working so hard on. Now I'm working on Kass Basher. I remember that last time I just kept starting over until I got the tree. But I just wanted to double-check that the tree is still possible -- because otherwise, I'm wasting a lot of time not actually playing the game!

Took work to get to the 3rd bat... easy after that :)

Way to go, Siniri!!!!!!!!

The tree should still be possible, though I play the game 3x a day nearly every day, and have yet to get it.

I'm assuming Pickles and Munduses are still in as well?
Definitely! 15/15 - and tomorrow's the halfway point!

{huggles book} I like books. :) {goes and buys several} At least this one is only ~5k today.

{totters off to finish housework, and then get back to practicing games that need practice (even though the list is getting shorter)}

Gah, I'm still stuck on kiko match. I can't even make it to level 14, and I'm starting to really dislike this game. On the bright side, if I can just beat his score on this game once, I will have a perfect "beat AAA eventually" record.

You can do it! Have you tried Pickles's hints (about halfway down here) -- especially the small screen, animations off, and matching the easy background colors first? I also posted my best times per round and my cut-off scores for various levels as the last post here. My only other hint is that if you're a kinesthetic learner (learn by doing), try naming each card as you overturn it -- just for the background color you're doing. It really helped me to cement what was where in my mind. Practice made me much faster at it. I mostly used colors, with the three blues being turquoise, blue, and mad. The multi-colored one was plaid. Just come up with your own names that work for you. The other thing is to just flip as fast as you can -- you might actually do worse for a while, but eventually your brain will adjust.

If you're feeling discouraged, try tracking your best time in each round -- I often saw improvements of 20-30 seconds in one round, which made me realize I really was getting better. Even the improvements of 2-3 seconds/round felt good. I know you'll succeed!

Today's was by far the easiest challenge. My KB high score is around 985, and I routinely get at least 970. It's an easy 3,000 nps a day game for me.

Well, I've tried most of them. I know I'll get it eventually, it's just been hard getting myself to even play the game...lol I think I'm definitely going to try the best time thing. If anything, it might give me something to shoot for. :)

Edit: I made it to level 14! :D Lost before I could finish it, but a definite improvement.

Edit again: I beat all the levels! Only got 539, but yay! :D

which begs the question: just how good of a "game master" is AAA anyway??

Wow, that looks weird. It seems to be 3D - is this the next direct Neo is heading?

Better than me apparently! I never realised you could move the hasees when they were in the air- I've always just played it jumping up and down, only ever got a high score through luck! Once I realised I more than doubled my high score.

If only I could have a similar revelation for Kiko and Destruct-O-Match- at the moment I'm still in the running to beat AAA on every game, but I need to get those two done at some stage.

Pfft, give me a challenge! 225?

The Checkered item goes nicely in my gallery though.
