I have my Firefox configured so that I block every ad, and even get rid of that evil blank space up at the top where the ad would have been blocked, that's no problem. (Heck, probably blocked them TOO well. Can't even play sponsor games, but that's no big loss. XD)

However, the black banner that would border some of the ads remains. And quite frankly, it's driving me nuts.

Is there any way at all to get rid of this? D:

aparently ad blocking = stealing.

A beautiful example of Godwin's Law in practice:
"As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one."

In case of Mr. Honest Web Master it took a whopping amount of two posts.
The level of online discussions sometimes makes me loose faith in humanity. :(

You can try the Adblock Plus Element Hiding Helper https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4364.

What it does is it hides the elements like certain DIVs, Paragraphs, etc. Make sure that what you're hiding has it's own class though. You don't want to block all paragraphs on neopets.
