how do you get him? The word on the neoboards is that he has to take you pet down to level one.

That would be my guess -- or a re when you zap you pet.
(perhaps only if he lowers stats)

While i wouldn't put it past TNT to have a chalenger that higher level players cant' get it seems less likely

If thats the case I missed out. My pet got zapped to level 1 yesterday and today. Then again I don't battle with that pet anyway. So I guess I won't be getting him as a challenger.

Good thing I got the lab last night, the price's inflated. I'm guessing its an RE at the lab, or when you're zapped.

IDb says that he has been announced, but cannot acually be gotten.

I've "heard" alot of things too, but I'm not trying anything until the IDB says how to get it... because its true, you cannot get this challenger yet. Most likely it wont just be a random event on the page. It will probably be a result of your pet being altered negativley *thats why you are able to get back at the scientist.* What a shame, I dont dare zap my pets, as I worked my butt off for two years to get certain species with a certain color... and now I wouldnt ever shoot them, so I probably wont get this challenger... *rats*

I got the lab maps just the night before the scientist was annonced, lucky me. I'd never be able to handle that inflation.
