Updated start page. New colours and updated graphics throughout the game.

Skip feature - Skip playing a level and receive rewards, limited to 10? skips then you may buy skip tickets with gems.
Battle Interface - Autoplay battle. You do not have to play any words. The game will auto battle you and your opponents.
You have 3 speed settings for play.
Power-ups - There is a limit of using 3 of each of your chosen power-ups per game.

When using autoplay, you can stop and use power-ups if you need to resurrect and/or heal your team, but you can not then play words.
You have to restart autoplay to let it finish the game.

Claymaker's Monsters
The monsters are on 7 day timer.
The leaderboard will reset each time a new boss is released and at this time has no real value.

Hm. Once the monsters started repeating and it was crunch time in the AC, I kind of stopped logging into L&L - especially since I was down to a single daily quest, plus I could only fight monsters because of all the new weird "elementals" cards that I didn't understand, seemed to be pretty weak, but I didn't want to just get rid of since I wasn't sure whether they had some hidden advantage, and thus have overflowed my deck.

I'm not a huge fan of people being able to just claim the rewards for levels without playing them if they spend enough money. What's the point of that?

Regarding the autoplay, does it use an attack based on the weakest word? ("Poor"?) Or can you do a decent number of levels that way? I'm not sure I like the idea of the game just playing itself, either... Does autoplay cost anything?

Any help with the new types of cards? Are any worth keeping? I'd like to clean up my deck, do some regular battles, and finish upgrading all my guys - and maybe get an extra Isca.

The Elementals are Materials.

Materials are for using to level up /ascend your cards.
If you can't use them, just sell. I use/sell the 2* and 3* Materials but keep the 4* for future ascensions.

Autoplay:
Costs what the level normally does in energy.
Plays the level for you, not the whole game.
Once the level is over, you collect your prizes, then you need to replay or go to the next level manually.
Uses the 'poor' attack, so that is probably the trade off for doing autoplay.

If you can already win a level with only making 3 or 4 words, then I would think that your team is strong enough to play autoplay on that level.
I can autoplay Lost Desert Lvl 20 and win every time.

It is weird that autoplay has been introduced. I would have thought TNT would want us to play more, not less. LOL.

Also with this update, our power-ups have been drastically reduced, about 90% of our collected power-ups were taken.
Add this together with only being able to use 3 of each power-up per battle and it makes for a very tough game when new levels come out.

I had around 350 of each (480 of the single heal, as I don't use it) and was left with 35 and 48. That really hurt.
It is not our fault that TNT did not get the prize ratios right. This game is not in Beta. We should not have to sacrifice our items in a game that has been fully released.

* If you are missing quests, log out. Close game (This is important!). Re-open and log back in.
This should refresh the game and give back your 5 quests. Repeat if it did not work.

Thanks, Daze. I've logged out several times, tried restarting my phone in between... Eventually I just gave up after a while. The game shouldn't glitch like that.

That stinks that they stole our power-ups. Eventually, our supplies would have depleted, anyway. No new levels yet, though, right?

No new levels yet, but Altador will be next. It is there, but locked.

That sucks that you can't force a refresh. I also read on the L&L board that a few others can't refresh either.

I have an iPhone 6s. Maybe it has something to do with the type of phone?

Urggh!! Another social media site. What a pain in the butt.

Ugh. I honestly haven't been on in so long, and while I get they want to tweak the game, I just don't have the motivation to learn and relearn it. Not until there's a better guide.

Edit: Not seeing day 2's clue yet. I guess the 48 hours is per clue? Otherwise, the event would end before all the clues are released...

Oops, missed out on clue 3. I've been busy, and my phone's charging port is malfunctioning. Why are the ports designed to slip inside the phone? And why can't the plugs be longer so they can reach farther in? Or at least have insulation that's easily trimmable as it happens. I wonder if I can pull the charging port back out... I don't want to carry a device worth more than my computer in my pocket, but I also firmly believe that a $100 phone should last longer than 2 years, and it shouldn't become obsolete because the mechanism to keep it working is designed to fail in the stupidest way possible...

....please tell me these aren't site event trophies on your actual neo account. If so, it'd be the first site event trophies I've not gotten in AGES. (also, if so, I'm going to be a bit miffed, as trophies on your neo account should be for neo events, not app events, which not everyone can participate in easily).

ETA: Just found that they're classifying them as "games" trophies. This is OK, I guess. If they'd put them under "site events", I'd be pretty miffed, as the app is not technically the site. Maybe they should have a new category for trophies for "app trophies" or something?

Meh. I'm feeling pretty meh about Neo lately. I've been pretty much just doing dailies. I don't have time to play an app AND do the site stuff, etc. For that matter, just getting dailies done is hard enough to squeeze in sometimes.

I'm with you, Pickles. I just don't want to add the app into my routine. It was fun enough for a while, but I feel like it's a bit too complicated. I like the word game, but the having to grind to level things up and constantly learn about new cards and decide which to keep and which to get rid of is just not my cuppa. I've mostly been ignoring all that, but now I have a gazillion cards I don't know what to do with, and the more they pile up, the less inclined I am to do anything with them.

Once they added the new card type with the monsters (which themselves I don't mind), it just overwhelmed me. I still don't get what an elemental is or how it ties into the original cards. And my quests have been glitched for months.
