I do believe you can only be logged on only at one location, so it should log you out from your friend's computer when you log back in on your computer.

You can be logged in on multiple computers, I am always logged in at home, and then I log in and out wherever I go, and it does not affect my home computer. As for changing your password, I have no clue what it would do.

Hmm...that wasn't the case about a year ago. I was always logged off when I logged in somewhere else. Guess either they changed it, or I'm bad at being observant (probably the latter).

As for changing passwords (don't take my word on this cause I was wrong on the first count), if it's changed, the other computer, when switching to another page, will probably receive a login page instead.

I'm always logged in at home, and my wife is always logged in under a different profile on the same machine, with no problems, but I'm also always logged in at work, again with no problems, and finally, on my lunch hour, I often pop into a cyber cafe and play a few games, again no problems :D

You will be logged in at both locations until you change the password. When you change it, the other account is automatically logged out.
