The girl who played Lavender was PERFECT. The guy who played Cormac was even better - I saw a lot of me in him, and I was pleased.

Even though I seen it loads it still freaks me out when
The dead Joker hits the office window and when you see Harveys freaky face for the first time

but otherwise I find it quite (funny) amusing even though its meant to be all serious and stuff

Soo weak compared to the book but the girl who played lavender did really well but the scene she done in the hospital wasn't as good I though she could have used a bit more emotion.
But as films go it was great.

I don't think they wanted her character to be serious at all, so in that respect I think she pulled off all of her scenes spectacularly. She was hilarious

I just watched Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. Good lord, those movies are hilarious. I don't really know what else to say. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost make me all kinds of happy <3

I was COMPLETELY confused until I read the book, but I guess it was still pretty good even if they did leave half the book out.

Hancock
I have a feeling you probably werent supposed to laugh as much as I did during that movie, but it was pretty good to me.

Thats just what I thought

Twilight
I was sleeping over my friends house with loads of others for her birthday and they are all huge twilight fans and they know it gets on my nerves so they thought it would be funny if they tied me to a chair and forced me to watch twilight.
and honestly it was torture

Oh I agree soo much! I love Simon Pegg. Have you seen Run Fat boy Run? If not go buy it!

I just watched Edge of Love.

It was good. I couldn't get past Mathew Rhys playing someone other than Kevin Walker (Brothers and Sisters), at first but after a while ... no I still couldn't get past it. I thought Kiera Knightley and Sienna Miller were very good. Directing and writing wise it was also very good! Two thumbs up.

GREAT documentary. If you can find it in theaters (it's more of a limited release), I would highly reccomend seeing it.

Marley and me
I really couldn't get into it as much as I did with the book and missed the ending because my family kept on asking me questions about it then they got annoyed when I said one little thing about it. I think I said " The kids are going to keep asking if he's sick again"

Bedtime stories
I found this absolutley hilarious and couldn't stop laughing and I found it really funny when my friend
screamed when she saw bugsy's eyes

Do Not Open The Spoiler if you have not seen the film

He's Just Not That Into You
Great film in general but confusing story line and just that bit to dull

Hotel For Dogs
One of the best films I had ever seen. I found myself laughing and crying more than I ever had done with a film. And all the contraptions were absolutley amazing, I found myself saying "wow" atleast 40 times

Only parts of it really. Seems a little pointless, since only those who have watched this from the beginning would really understand and enjoy what is happening. I also wonder what the appeal to video game fans is, since they picked and choosed what they wanted to show, and even then it was a completly different setting than it was from the games. But that's supposed to be the point, right? I just get the feeling that video game fans are going to abandon this, and viewers are the ones of have real attachment. Also, the post apocalyptic future is something that I know more than a few people would enjoy watching. Mad Max fans rejoice!

Star Trek (2009)

Does knowing what happened count as watching it? Because I sure don't intend to watch it after being told what it was really about...
The whole time I heard about the movie, it was presented as an origin story of the original Enterprise. And while that's still true in a sense, it's also a lie: the entire film was an alternate reality. From the beginning to the end, not within regular Star Trek timeline. Sure, the Spock from the one we know was there...or was that just another alternate reality Spock? I'd prefer to think it as such, since thinking otherwise is ridiculous. I'm fine with knowing what happened with the story, but I'm adamant in ignoring this movie and not seeing it, though I'm sure it would be enjoyable. Let's just say I have a huge disgust of alternate reality stories. It's a slap in the face to already established history, making you wonder what the whole point of it all is. :(

Panic Room (2002)

I didn't like the movie very much. The characters were all pretty good, but the daughter, played by Kristen Stewart, was my least favorite. I didn't even recognize her for the first half of the movie. Her acting was decent, but her character was easy to hate. Her exaggerated gestures toward her mother when the mother is trying to save Kristen get very annoying, and you almost want to root for the robbers.

I got lots of negative feedback from the film from friends, and I can certainly understand what it was about after seeing it. Heck, I automatically disliked the way they showcased the story in the beginning: no mystery, in your face, and literally telling and showing you what it was all about. That could have been taken care of better with no pictures during the storytelling. Yamcha was a little ridiculous. and some moments were played a little badly. The movie watcher/maker in me weeps.

Still, it wasn't that bad. So things could have been better! I heard someone say it's one of the better anime to live action transitions to date, and that's saying a lot. And that "fight" scene with the car? Awesome. 8)
