I don't see what the big deal is about the Hannah plot. If that's the next plot, why not WAIT till they've FINISHED the Sloth plot and THEN do the Hannah one? That would have made much more sense, and not upset quite so many people.

It took them almost a year and a half to finish the Meridell plot, so we wouldn't mind waiting for the Sloth one to be done! It seems rather silly that they are trying to launch plots WITH each expansion though. Plots should take a lot longer than a month to run, so all the players get their chance at the plot. The rate their going, it's almost a new expansion pack every three weeks!

No I have no problem with merchandising, just with the fact that they have let it overshadow the whole reason FOR the merchandising! A site that used to be really rad, but now is only "Eh". If it was still at the rad stage, I'd be willing to buy the plushies, toys and rest to keep it free, but now? Forget it, not worth it, because my interest in the site is diminishing with each glitch and dropped plot that slips by.

Amazing what one can come up with when one is given a cardboard box and a roll of duct-tape!

Granted, our wal*mart has like, a one foot slot for all the neopets merchendice it sells.. *laughs*

Well the merchandis isn't selling here either. In Wal*Mart they have a tiny little section right near the hot wheels and the stuff has been there forever. At the crad shop the TCGs are gathering dust(i bought one to get a rare item code, worthless never bought anything again). The magazine (which I acctually think is a good idea) is the only thing that sells.

Yeah. I've been waiting for the sloth plot. And then they put it off. They should only do about 4 expansion packs A YEAR. They should stop advertising so much and fix the site's glitches, help people via the support. I've sent a support question regarding my accounts to them about 7 times. I'm yet to get a responce. I've bought about 2 packs of TCs. I don't know why..><...Noone around where I live plays them. They never sell off the shelves.

Robert, I would think the easiest way to show this would be to copy and paste your petition onto, say, notepad or open works and copy it there, and write a letter around the signatures, adding the url for the petition site.

I do have to say, and this is not to sound defeatist, that a) online petitions almost never work or in the very few instances they do work - it's not the way you intended it; b) to be completely honest, your petition has been corrupted and made almost invalid by some of the names/neo user names that people posted either as a joke or to try to make a point.

I hope I'm wrong, but if they look at the petition and see "Adam" and "borovan" along with "BoB Dole" and "theneopetsteam" on your petition, they'll just think alot of the other names are made up and file your petition in circular :(

I started a petition to TNT. I doubt it will do anything but if you want you can sing it. The petition is about the sloth plot and the quality of the site.

You -do- realize, that if you sent that in and it become sucessful, the Sloth plot would be horribley rushed. It's better to have a fresh new plot, even though its Hannah with a game I can't play (Ten bucks thats where the first clue is -.-) But the point is, the new plot will have more qualaty

Actually, if they just went on ahead and worked on it, keeping us waiting as they did with the Meridell plot, I wouldn't mind. They don't need to rush it, just do it in the first place, instead of saying, "Well, we missed that marketing opportunity, so lets just rush out the next plot to be timed with the next set of cards."

It's the fact that they aren't taking the time to DO the plots that bothers me. What was so important that they had to toss aside a plot that many of us where waiting for? Pieces of cardboard that aren't going to keeping being collected forever? Right... uh-huh. It's the site that sells the merchandise, not the other way around. That's what Neopets needs to learn now.

As for the support end, yeah... that needs a lot of work. I'd love to actually get responses from the support staff so I can judge whether or not it's worth dealing with the site anymore. That autoform system almost insures that very few mails ever get seen, let alone responded to. And when I did get a response, I found out that it's obviously too late for my old account.

Yeah, I'm a wee bit bitter about that. After trying for almost a year to get my old account back with no response, period, only to finally get one saying that it's been too long.. You'd be bitter too. I haven't done much on Neopets and many of my friends have quit for the same reasons that I'm toying with the idea myself.

I can honestly say that doing something like this, starting a petition because something did not go your way, will accomplish absolutely nothing. I think you should take a moment to look at what you're doing, and think -- what will pressuring the Neopets team do? They're not about to sit down and say, "Hmm, they signed this online petition. We'd better get back to doing the plot now." A petition just adds... err... what's the expression again? XD

EDIT: Insult to injury. There we go.

Erm.... why don't you just get numerous people to mail them, amd tell them to keep going with the plot... it happened with the Kougra. (I think that new Kougra cool, I voted for it :P) Petitions, well don't really work.

I am UNKNOWN.... don't ask anything thats personal to me...

Number 100 won nothing :(
I was No. 100. I left my username. Well, my old username :P

I signed it, to be honest, just for the sake of it. I'd like a sloth plot, but I'm just as happy waiting for a Hannah plot :)
