I was hoping a few of you might have some tips for me for taking advantage of the game scores resetting. I have a few games to play for avatars, and I've been watching the scores carefully for 2 days now, waiting for them to reset.

Once they do, is it best to play the game as long as I can to get the highest score I can? Or is it better to play as quickly as I can so I can (try to) get in the Top 50 and get the avatar?

This is my first shot at this, so I'd appreciate any tips that any of you av/trophy collecters would have for me.

Oh yeah, the game's I'm trying for are Math's Nightmare, Escape from Meridell Castle and Korbat's Lab. I also need Extreme Potato Counter and Invasion of Meridell, but those aren't affected by the high score tables.

Im not 100% sure on this but I think that you need to be in the top 50 when they hand out the trophies to get the avatars, so I would suggest using the current scores as a guideline and keep playing til you get close to them. Then, if possible, leave the window open without sending the score til they reset.

Otherwise just practice til you can do it in your sleep!:)

(Theres no guarrantees when neo will reset the scores though...)

well, I know at least for the other game avs I have gotten, you get the avatar as soon as you send the score, as long as it's good for the top 50 at the time you send the score.

Well, generally i like going to the fullest I can with the games i'm playing. So... I say go ahead and play the game to get the highest score you can. If you've already made the top 50 with your score, you might as well keep going and aim for the top 17 for a trophy.

Especially since most gamers know that the first of the month is the best time to get a trophy... everyone will be trying their best to get into the high scores. If you decide "eh, this score is good enough" and you send it... and you see "OH MAN, i missed it!" how bad would that feel? You could've kept going... but you stopped?

What Top 50 game avs are these? All I knew is that you need to be in the top 50 by the time they hand out the trophies to get the av.

Play till you loose, don't loose on purpose, they give the avatars when they give the thropies!
