*sigh*

I know this is mostly grasping in thin air, but I'm trying to create an adventure here. My first page went like this:

Quote:
Once upon a time, in Neopia Lane 146655, there was a little boy called Martin. Martin only had one pet, but he was very proud of it: a yellow Poogle named Toni!

Now you may be thinking, "What's so special about a yellow Poogle?" and Martin was often asked the same question, to which he would happily respond: "This Poogle was born on Poogle day! And as you know, Poogles can only be born on Poogle day. Not everyone can say they have one, no sir!"

To which people would roll their eyes and move on, leaving Martin and Toni happy as happy as they were.

And already it's deemed inappropriate. So, could someone either
a/point out to me which words are inappropriate
or b/ tell me if a site exists listing the words considered 'inappropiate' by Neopets?

Um, the only thing I can think of is if they're still not liking apostrophes, maybe. Other than that, I have no idea. Also, I've never heard of a site that lists the words deemed inappropriate, sorry. :(

I don't exist. omo

Nope, didn't work. I even removed the colons. This is going to the editorial. If they're going to be this unreasonable about limiting people's vocabulary, the least they can do is publish a guide on what is deemed inappropriate. Now I'm not under the delusion that anyone else hasn't already tried this, but you never know...
For the record: after removing the colons and apostrophes, I also removed the numbers, thinking they might be considered coding.

So, anyone want to write the editorial about this with me?

Removed every 'as', even the one in 'asked', as well as the apostrophes.

Thanks anyway, May.

Ok, this is probably a long shot, but try replacing all the Poogles with, like, Kacheeks or something. If that doesn't work, try changing the other names.

Oh, and you wrote "happy as happy as they were" in the last line. You might want to fix that. :)

Nope, didn't work either.

So far I've tried :
- removing apostrophes
- removing colons
- removing 'as', both on it's own and in other words
- changing poogle to another pet ('cybunny')
- removing the consecutive numbers

Anyone else got some more suggestions?

Also, I've done it as well, but if you could all write the Editorial about this, we might get some guidelines.

I'll write to the editorial as well :)

Maybe it's the word 'born'? This is an even longer shot, but it's worth a try. o.o

Nope and nothing. I'm getting to the point where I'm going to have to rely on TNT's goodwill, which pretty much means clutching at straws... :(

If you really want to find out, just try posting it sentence by sentence. Once you hit the error, do it word by word, and you'll find out what gives the error message

Thanks for the tip. I really thought that would do it, as it's simply common sense. What is the end result? Each sentence or piece of sentence, from the apostrophes and colons to the 'as' and the numbers, all work just fine on their own. Put it together, though...

That is really weird...I guess you're doing all you can do...write the editorial and I would send a bug report or something to them as well.
