For once, I am exceedingly jealous that I don't have Premium. Not jealous enough to go out and get it, but jealous. ;)

I wonder how long it'll be before it's out for everyone?

Wow, that's a bummer. I guess I wouldn't have made it anyways, as I can't do anything but simple HTML stuff from here (work).

Daze, I take it you made it in time? Have fun with it for us!! :)

Yeah it's a closed beta testing, like P3 habitats. I missed P3 but I got in to keyquest (had to open and close the link from the portal like 30 times before I got it to let me in!) and it's a lot of fun! It's sorta like Mario Party and you can have really short games or really long drawn out games. And the tokens are cute :P. I got a blue bruce to use because I don't have any of my own and now I wanna go out and buy some plushies XD

Like Mario Party!?! SO totally glad I've got some tokens from plushies (I couldn't resist 'em, they were too cute). Oh, my husband is going to love this - he loves Mario party.
Wow, I've got a million questions now from sheer curiosity, but I'll stick with this one:
Do you get to play with/against other actual people (Neo users)? I know it said you do, but I'm just wondering if you really do or not...or how that works.

Hah, I'm probably way to over-excited about this. But it sounds like fun!

Yes, you play against actual Neopet users.

I have never owned any other games, but I have played on Yahoo Games. The concept is similar - you can either create your own game and invite users or have it public and anyone can join, or you can just join any game that has space available.

You can have 2, 3 or 4 person play and either search for 2, 3, 4 or 5 keys.

I created a 2 player, 2 key quest:

You choose your starting colour

Image
Wait for someone to join and then roll the dice to see who goes first.

Image

Image
Roll the dice to move - when you get 'powerups' you can use one before rolling the dice.

Image
During the game there are 'mini-games', these are played against your opponent/s.

Image
You have an interface to see what you and your opponent has - this is taken from the Tutorial.

Image
There are many responses all typed out (like Neomail topics), open chat should be available when the game goes live.

You can earn nps during the game.

If you collect all the keys and are the first to the Exit, you win.

Each player than earns a Key, these Keys can be redeemed for prizes.

Compared to Mario Party KQ isn't really much at all to be honest, but the idea of the game is similar. Instead of stars you're collecting keys and powerups are like items but the keys are much easier to get.

And yeah you play against other people but the game is super laggy.

Any Premium members still trying to get in, should keep trying. More people got in a short time ago.

We actually need more people as it is hard to find enough people for a game.

The game play is super slow and there are still problems with being kicked out or frozen out of the game.

Now I have played a few times, I am a little disappointed. I was expecting a more 'freestyle' type of game, but you just move around a board and get keys, nps, powerups or mini-games.

When you enter a game, there is no indication of how many keys you have to collect, so I hope this is addressed in the final product.

They opened up a few more spots to testers this morning, so I got in :)

The thing I REALLY don't like right now is that you can't actually "chat" with other users, you can only use preset messages (kind of what under-13 users have to do with their shop descriptions) :( Someone said that we will be able to chat (without preset messages) once they release it, though :)

To those who can't test it, you aren't missing much. I joined a game with 3 other people and we chose our game pieces, but right after that, the game stopped loading (but we could still chat) and we all left :x
