Went to the boards and it seems this problem is pretty widespread. I switched browsers from Firefox to IE and managed to get Abi's prize that way. But TOSO, you're right, I can't play games like faerie bubbles in Firefox. Am a bit reluctant to re-install flash as I just did it 3 weeks ago! *lol* Perhaps it's a problem with the new version of Firefox - I now use vsn 2.0.0.13.

Re-installing flash fixed the problem for me without any other side effects. I'm also using the latest firefox(2.0.0.13.). Hopefully that helps you decide what you want to do

I'm using Internet Explorer and it works fine for me.

Yeah, Daze, I think I'm on the same board as you mentioned. I see you! :P

If you challenge AAA on the day, but only can beat Abigail that day, you will only qualify for the Spiffastic Reward.

Reasoning is.. you didn't BEAT the challenge you had taken on, which is AAA.

Us allowing you to get credit for Abigail is more of a consolation since you cannot change your challenge.

HEY! I just realised, this is only the second time I've seen a monitor n the boards. Hm.

I don't exist. omo

for dubloon disaster, if you're on a fast computer, leave the water effects on. I turned it off and the darned boat started flying around the screen too fast @_@;
just went for abi- since I'm going for Uberrific and I like the toy.

It was not released by us. People just keep trying to find out things in advance by playing with URLs, lucky they are not frozen for it.

That's nice. Since certain aspects of the site are only available by typing in URLs (Jellyworld, anyone?) and there are many puzzle sites where the answer gets typed into the URL (don't know if any plots did this, but many other sites do), it's only logical people eventually think that TNT might use such a tactic in one of their site events/plots. It's silly to even hint that they might start freezing people for such a thing. I mean, if it's findable on the site, why shouldn't users be able to see it? It's not that hard to keep it off-line until such time as they want to make it available for us to see.

TNT: Oh, no, you want to know everything about our game because you like it so much! Let's boot you out of it, then!

I think it'll be cool to have a brand new game no one's played before -- that'll really separate out the top overall gamers. And I just finished DD, so I'm 29/29 for MegaSuperb -- I just hope whatever they do tomorrow and Monday doesn't cost me it! For DD, I just do the slow-and-steady get two dubloons, crash two mines together, get two more dubloons, crash the mines, lather, rinse, repeat method. The best dubloon I got was a 50-pointer, but I still managed to get 1025. I did use the "blackpawkeet" cheat, which is supposed to improve the probability of a higher-level dubloon, but I doubt it actually works (see results above).

I can understand the frustration TNT must feel - (even though I had no qualms about sharing the information).

I don't think the monitor meant it as a site wide problem - only that on site events where these games are found before time are a problem for the event.

This type of event is different to a plot, where you are expected to search for clues and it is different from Jellyworld, where TNT gave us a link, then disavowed any knowledge of it, to keep the joke going.

So the entire unreleased thread is against the rules? The monitor sounds like an idiot, sorry.

Anyway, I'm still trying for Dubloon Disaster. My second try I got 865, both tries ended because a stupid mine appeared RIGHT under me. :( I wish they'd fix that from happening, I think they fixed it in the second version of Meerca Chase so it can't be that hard.

Also, thanks to whoever mentioned turning the water effects off, I didn't know you could do that. :) They're so distracting, I don't mind the speed of the boat though.

Edit: Yay, got it :) Guess I'll go practice ice cream machine now.

I went to bed last night and forgot to re-install flash. But came online and it all seems to be working again!

Whee, congrats!

And, wow, compared to last year, Dubloon was easier. Didn't take too long to beat for me.
So. 29/29!

Did all the rest of the Ultimates and Megasuperbs make it?

Thanks! And Dubloon Disaster went better than I thought. I ended up with some really good dubloons and got a new personal best of 1535.

So I'm all caught up and stuff, so as long as they don't throw anything completely awful at us tomorrow I'm good. :D

*Whew* I'm finally caught up, though the lag did almost kill me. I came so close to giving up on the whole thing, especially when it came to Stowaway Sting not loading for three hours :x I definitely could've beaten AAA more than 4 times too, but I just couldn't deal with the terrible lag for almost all of the games.

I'm wondering what TNT has up their sleeves for the last two days...

Well, technically there's two days left in March still, and there are prizes that were found that weren't released with any games. So, I don't think we're over until Monday :)
