I hope and don't think that nothing major has gone wrong, there probably moving the Bank / SDB servers over this morning, which to me seems pritty reasonable because this is not the most active time of the day for Neo...

I have close to 1 mill nps worth of items in the BD and between 1 and 6 mill nps worth of items in my SDB (those are the only two places I use to store items), its basically my work for however long I've been playing Neo. If they were to disappear and not come back there is no way I would stay around Neopets any longer. I hate it when there are glitches and I hate it even more when there are glitches and at the same time the maintenance page comes up so you can't even check on things

Grr... I blame the new database, and the McDonald's promotion. Is it not enough that they clog our arteries, must they clog our accounts as well!?

But yes, the Red Pteri is starting to be as timeworthy as Old Faithful... To think, I put my stuff in the SDB for safekeeping, turns out that it might not be so safe afterall.

As for everyone who lost items, I hope you guys get 'em back. Time was spent acquiring those things, and time equals money... so TNT might be robbing you of fortunes!

Alas, I doubt that it'll suffice to get their attention reoriented.

It is okay that they are offline now, but I hope they clear the tables when they go back online (and do it within the next hour or two). I hope to snag a trophy tonight.

It truly is a bummer about trophy's because who knows now when they'll reset, or when to start sending scores. Possibly, this might make it a more fair 1st day. I know quite a few games I feel I'm reasonably good at, but the same people are on those top lists each month with their unfathomable scores, and I barely make third only to find by 4am, I'm tossed out.

Anyone know how long about since it's been down? I just got home, so wasn't sure if it's been hours or all day?

IMHO, I really doubt there would be a roll-back. Looks like someone tripped over a cord and disconnected something big, huh?

All I know is, like the rest of you, is that all our stuff - sbd, bd, inventory, shops, bank, pets,petpets, avatars -- everything basically -- really had best all be there down to the last bottle of sand. After posting that the sloth plot was being put aside for the tcg (which I still don't get - how they gonna sell cards that tie in with a plot if there is no plot), alot of people on the boards were not happy. I was actually surprised at how many people were complaining, and not politely. We all know, you don't criticize anything TNT does on the site. If people lose things again when there are still shops and items missing, I don't know what's going to happen.

I can say I've been seeing alot of posts lately from newer members asking how they can delete their accounts, not to mention the long timers who are saying they're quitting, that they've had it with glitches, weird warnings, unfair freezings and no support or respect for the players. Things are kind of touchy right now. Another big glitch? ohh, very very bad news.

On the other hand, there is always a chance that the site was taken down for maintenance because someone did see something messing up and all will be fixed. Fingers crossed! (and toes)

I took that 300 np for this survey thing, and it was all about merchandising...

...and one of the questions was:

"Did seeing any of the Dollar Items as merchandise influence your decision in the purchase of a Dollar Item in the last couple of months?"

Granted it's not ver batim, but it was that exact question. And if TNT wasn't so busy creating new merchandise to please their ads, then they'd have more time that wouldn't be spent updating everything. I mean, why not take that little image in the yellow side toolbar that advertises the neopet games, and use THAT to advertise? It'd be a lot better than ruining Neopia by incorporating big business into it (for this comment to make logical sense please ignore the game Plushie Tycoon).

...I got Bubble Yum for a Snow Faerie prize. It was today, and I just about fell off my chair in laughter.

But yes, the site is down and I don't really mind if some glitch takes my bubble gum, just DON'T TOUCH MY (low priced quick cheap plug wink wink) SHOP!

Let's hope in the first place that everything comes back. And if it doesn't come back, you lost ONLY 6 codestones. I have plenty of things that are much more worth, paintbrushes, super limited t-shirt. I think you should look at people losing millions of np because of this day, the first day of hiding. Hiding the neopets team, in this case.
