Draik Transmogrification Potions are retired too but I think they are still being given out by the sloth random event?

Really? I didn't even know that there was a Sloth Randome Event which gave out items. I only know of the two Sloth RE, Avatar and zapping your items into a pile of sludge.

hmm...that's rather odd...because item that are only given out in random events like ice negg and certain paintbrushes shouldn't be given out once they retire or it makes no difference.

are you sure it's an icy negg and its relative (ultra icy negg for example)?

however retired item can still be obtained as prizes..eg lost desert pb from fruit machine, blackened banana from King Skarl, retired party stuff from crackers and from what i heard certain retired item from the neocola machine.

hmm..then in that case, my best guess would be that TNT retired item randomly but forget to take those out of random events.

Yeah, Neopets ran a programme that chose 50 non-retired items at random, and retired them.

Among them was Orange Chocolate Gelert, and Icy Negg. I guess even they didn't know what items they retired, so, they couldn't really fix it. (Though they realized they made a mistake after Water Faeries inflated to 15k)

nope, you can still get retired items from REs and the fruit machine, maybe other places too. i got a stone pb from the fruit machine once, and a retired cracker of some kind from a RE (possibly a krawk cracker? i honestly don't recall). i got them waaay after they'd been retired.

i like it because i think retiring items is dumb. especially paintbrushes. people should be able to alter their pets' appearances to the way they want.

There are actually quite a few, the avatar one, the pile of sludge one, on where he gives you a transmorphigrification(how ever you spell it lol) potion, sloth invasion tax...I think that is it

Doesn't retired just mean that you can no longer buy them in the shops? That's what I always thought. If so, then they could still be given out as RE's and prizes.

If you check out the shop wiz, you will see that icy neggs are still being given out as RE's--because the price of them hasn't really jumped too much since their retirement.

i thought that retired item means they can no longer be obtained from their main source any more. it makes little sense to retire something if their source remains the same as b4 they retire.

I've always hated them retiring paint brushes too. Its such a waste when there's not enough already to supply the increasing demand on them :x
