if it's number 3, then i'd be a little mad why they make us insane wondering what's going on!

To be perfectly honest, I really don't care about neoschools at all. I do think they will have them eventually though, because they made all those items. Of course they could end up changing the items like they did to the movies a long time ago...

I remember they wanted to synch it with the school year last year. They even had a date. I was so excited that I skipped going to religion class (I know... x_x).

I never bought anything, but oh well, Marketing is something that i won,t understand. They need money to pay the staff and blah blah. It's sure, im sort of dissapointed not have seen neoschools, and now the plot.
But maybe theres a reason...
OH well.

In this issue of the magazine, on the Breaking News page (page 6), it says:



So it's not like it's a big secret or anything. Apparently at some point there will be a Neoschool (no I'm not sending my pets, I'm sure it will cost too much), so I guess patience is the key to this.

As to the Sloth plot being scrapped in favor of a Hannah plot? Well, to be honest I'm a sideline watcher of these plots, and they're fun to watch. I can never figure anything out (Mystery Island plot confused me SO bad), but considering the tcg was supposed to go along with the Sloth plot, I really think they should go forward with that one. Besides, I like Sloth!

They're probably contracted with Wizards of the Coast, the card-makin' folks, for a particular release date for the TCG.

And to publicize (read sell) the Hannah cards, they need to start the plot around then -- same reason they threw the Kreludor map up (even though the moon still doesn't show on the Explore map) and put up the beginning groundwork for the plot (the mining company with the unexplained codes, etc.) when the Sloth TCG cards were released.

I don't believe even TNT (by which I mean the corporate decision-makers) would dare default on the Hannah plot now, since that was their excuse for skipping the long-awaited return of the legendary Dr. Sloth, but I still think that purchasing Hannah expansion decks will only encourage even more slighting of the site in favor of getabuck merchandise.

The site is the reason there is a market for the cards -- it seems some folks are forgetting that.

Did anyone notice in the editorial about Job coupons. For some reason by Donna's response I immediately thought about Neoschools.... anyone else?

How do I get a job coupon!? I know that the help section says that they were given out for a short time and should be back soon, but its not fair. I just started playing neopets so I never had a oppurtunity to get one. I am also aware that I can buy one from other players, but I dont have that type of money! - shannagurl25
At the moment there is no way to get a job coupon, although in a couple of week's time there will be I can't tell you where as it will spoil the surprise, but it is coming...

Yes they are putting off neoschools, as well as the Kreudolor and the Sloth Plot! It really seems that neopets is getting self absorbed in all the publicity, and are begging for more sponsers and stuff. I don't blame them for trying to start the next empire like "pokemon", but theyre leaving the memmbers who fuel the game behind! To tell you the truth, I'm not impressed by the TCG cards

I agree. If they keep publicising themselves, they'll neglect the site even more. By saying that, I mean the Plots, Games etc... Neopets has done some great stuff this year, two new Neopets, a new world, BFM Plot but still I didn't think Neopets would throw a plot out the window for a TCG expansion.

However Donna said they might go back and work on it or something along those lines in the Editorial.

well they quitted with the Sloth plot and we haven't heard of any news for a while about neoschools so i think that they just in the end didn't bother with it and hope that people wouldn't speculate about it. (Which by the look of the Neoboards and things) is what has been happening.

there's been comments in the editorial about them getting back to neoschools...
