For some time I have spun the Wheel of Excitement once a day. Especially now that it costs 150 np to play, I think that I am coming out behind as far as np. Usually I get maybe 30-40 np, sometimes my pet gets sick, sometimes something is stolen, rarely do I get a nice prize.

It is fun to spin the wheel, but I'm not so sure it is worth it when on average I am losing np . What do you think about the Wheel of Excitement?

I have definatly lost much more NPs then I've earned. But I will keep spinning until I get the avatar.

I think I probably lose a lot of NP to the Wheel of Excitement, but I keep spinning every day as a habit. Plus you never know when you'll win something good off of it.

Unlike everyone else, on the rare chance that I play, I usually win the 200 - 1000 NP prize. IF I played regularly, I know I would not be winning, but I only play a couple times a month.

They should raise some of the payouts so that it is more fair, but I still think it is a fun game.

It's just another thing to do on Neopets.
And there's always that odd chance you might win the "grand prize". :P

Boy, I haven't spun this thing in a LONG time...but then again, I was always too impatient to wait for it to stop spinning, so I would just click the "collect my prize" button and end up with the "mystery prize" of less than 100 NP nearly every single time. I suppose it is worth a shot every once in a while, though.

That's what I do, too. Do you think if I just let it finish on its own that there would be better prizes?

150np is such a small amount that I don't mind.

Plus, eventually (and I have had looong dry spells, so it could be two or three months) you'll get an item prize worth several thousand np, which should at least cover the cost of spinning.

I have been told that Wheel of Monotony is much better, and that despite the long spin no matter what you will earn more than you lose in the long run...but I hate to have that stupid thing in the back of my browser all day. Weird pet peeve? Anyway, if you're sick of WoE maybe WoM is the way to go?

Spin! It's the wheel with the best chance of winning something good, and even though I have the avatar, I still do it as a daily.

I don't exist. omo
