Well, if you hadn't bid on thr blue lupe, dog, I have an extra one I'd be willing to give ya. Could have saved you 4 bucks or so. Oh well. My friend (who plays neopets, but not fanatically like I do) got a shadow aisha. I'm tryig my best to bribe her, but she hasn't caved in yet. Almost had a shouting match with a McD's manager yesterday, lol. I found the only McD's in town that still has aishas, and he wouldn't let me look through them to find the shadow and orange ones. Which I understand (they were busy), but he said, "We're kinda busy, and I don't have time for people like you." PEOPLE LIKE ME?!?! **sigh** so I'm still down two aishas. At least I finished my techos. I've completed all the sets that are released now, I'm just waiting for yurbles, grundos(my second favorite!), shoyrus, quiggles, unis, and wockies.

Hey, Karen, do you have some secret weapon to get all thoe plushies?!

Different McDonald's have different items. All of the boxes are not always single items. There are also customer care boxes, with plushies from all 16 groups (I got 47 from one these). Most of the shops are usually happy to help out, as long as they are not busy. Let them know that you are a collector. Sometimes the managers will tell someone to help you or send them in the back to find more boxes for you. Always have your list ready with the pictures and numbers. Know how to find the tag and read it. Blue tags are regulars and gold tags are painted. Hold the tag up to the white part of the package and you can easily read the color.

I now have all items numbered 1 through 10 and only need 11 more plushies from the 11 - 16 groups (3 weeks left, no problem). Have 14 of the 15 cards, still need Count Von Roo (doesn't look promising).

Anyway..

Ive got about 15 plushies.. Yesterday they were sellin Items and today they had shoyru's and I guess? Aishas because they gave me a green aisha first and I said, um, Can I get the purple bagged plush. "Ya, sure." I'd like to tell em that "Us People" Are the people that keep their Paycheck comin!

I got a Blue Shoyru today..
and i must say, HOW CYUTE!!!!!!

EDIT- Nevermind! Computer is being a complete you know what. PS keeps shutting down on me as soon as i get the pic ready. It wasnt meant to be I guess..

*sheepish grin* oops.. hehe... like I said, I'm having problems with posting. Sorry! So karen, about the customer care packs... can you inquire about them by name, or is it better to get friendly with a manager and then ask?
Yeah, my husband found that neat trick with reading the tag through the bag. He doesn't even play neopets, and I've gotten him addicted to these plushies! I've found that most managers are more than willing to go that extra mile to help someone out. I've had nothing but good things to say about McD's until this last manager. Ah, well. There's always gotta be one bed egg.... at least I know where he is, I can avoid him!!

I was gunna gte a meal, but at the time I was too hungry for such a small food package. I might take my sister's Aisha's though. A yellow one, and a Cloudy one. I saw some girl with a green Ixi today too. I want an Ixi! I might go tomorow, and get one...

Why are those neopets happy meals only in America *sobs*

i really think it's a pity those things like neopets happy meal, shops with neopets plushies etc are only available in America and the U.K. I always have bad luck with that.

Does anyone know if those Happy Meals will be out in the Netherlands too?

I doubt it. Neopets is notoriously England/America partial. It's a surprise they even have other languages on the site. I'm afraid you're only recourse is eBay, or another auction website...

I went to mcdonalds yesterday and got 3 plushies:

a starry panit brush - it's okay. matches my starry lupe.

a blue moehog- this thing is so incredibly ugly, even in plushie form

a green jubjub- hehehe he has got to be the cutest plushie i have [poke him] and i don't care for most jubjubs on the site, but the plushie ones are so cute.

Edit: oh I also got 2 cards that weren't doubles. A faeire uni, which is nice and a raindorf which is so cute

Oh well, collecting's half the fun anyway. :wink:

And too bad about the aishas. I stopped by my local McDonalds yesterday, but it was packed with about 50 people, everyone sweating from the midday heat (my ice cream cone started melting within 10 seconds of stepping back outside), so I knew they wouldn't respond well to me asking to go digging through their plushies, and neither would the customers. Oh well, 'got a cloud Moehog.

Yeah, this whole plushie ordeal has definitely been an excercise in tact, which I've found is something that doesn't come naturally for me, lol....

-_- the only plush I have is a yellow blumaroo... yay for me.

The McDonalds here is full of rude asses who can't even have the courtesy to speak proper english and practically throw your food at you.

I wish I could get a purple shoyru...

Alright, now not only do I have the Green Aisha and Green JubJub, I now have the Blue Chomby and Yellow Lupe.

Well, I finally got a yellow Aisha! Now I'm on the hunt for an orange Aisha and I'll have the complete set of those. I've been to 5 different McDonald's now. The one closest to me the people are SO rude. I just don't understand it. I don't go asking about the toys if they're busy, usually I'll go mid afternoon when it's really slow and they still won't be in the least cooperative!

So, it may be ebay for me to try to get that orange Aisha, grrr. I did get a purple Wocky the other day, it's much cuter than I thought it would be. But I may just ebay the other toys I've gotten, because I'm not going to be able to get all 109 toys.

Can I say that I am getting truly sick of the sight of McDonald's right now?

I love the plushies like.. to death.. But. I hate McDonalds. I guess that's just the price you have to pay... Ah. Well. I have some advantage to getting them, because my parents go out alot and bring home dinner. I just have to request a happymeal until June 24th. LOL.
