Ok I just signed up with the site because the last two days I have visited the shrine at exactly 8:00 AM NST. This should give me one level up (according to not only the guide, but also experience), but instead on the first day I recieved Speed, and the second day Hit Points. I was enrolled at the Training School with my active pet at the time, so I think it is reasonable to assume that this is the cause. I was wanting to add this to the guide, but my "New Member"ness keeps me from it (i.e. I have no freakin' idea how).

OK... maybe i should have put this more as a question... has this happened to anyone before, do you agree this is the cause, and how would I go about adding it to the guide?

The Coltzan's shrine thing is no longer true - it is now, as far as I know, totally random.

As an aside, rather than double-posting, you can just click the "edit" button at the bottom righthand corner of your posts if you want to add info and nobody's replied yet.

neopets was supposed to have randomized all the daily's to make them fair. its definately proved random for me lately.

Twice now I've had all my pets' HP restored to full after getting a 'Nothing has happened' event at the Shrine - I thought the first was a fluke, but then it happened again today. I'm pretty positive it was the shrine, because I had just that tab on Neopets, and there were no random events anywhere. When I click the back button on the browser, it shows 0 HP at the Shrine page, but full on the page after.

Anyone else noticed this? It doesn't happen all the time, just randomly, but if you do give me a heads up. It'd be interesting to see if this is something new about the Shrine.

I would have to confirm it's random. I just click now...sometimes I get something, sometimes I don't. Seems more like a regular daily now :)

The only thing I've noticed that isn't random, is that new pets often get more things at Coltzans Shrine. I don't know whether it's the age or stats of the pet, but they do get more (mainly stat increases) than the older and stronger pets, although after a while it also gets less and less. Kinda makes sense I guess

I have noticed a great change in the amount of times I get good stuff from the dailies since I started playing. I won a lot more often when I was a new player. That would probably be the hook-em-and-reel-em strategy where one gets a person interested in making all sorts of great stuff happen at first (getting them hooked) and the number of good things gradually decreases until the person is already a loyal player and the amount of positive things is no longer as important as before. (I miss winning a lot...)

A note on the healing thing I mentioned above: It happened again. Now I'm pretty sure a 'nothing has happened' result (hands glow blue, chill wind, maniacal laughter etc) have a random heal thing, because this is the third time and that's good enough for me.

Someone please try to see if this happens to them too?

On your active pet? I'll check the next time that happens to me.

It's a random thing, I think, doesn't happen all the time, and heals all of your pets. I know this because I never bother healing my pets after all the dailies and wheels, and I tend to get results like "The Lava Ghoul comes and breathes fire over your pets!" or other things that reduce HP, so my pets usually have HP in the red.

Yes, I've noticed that too. If it's true, it would be a good way to keep people. I know that if I got terrible random events and never won, I'm sure I would have been discouraged.

I know that I can do Coltzan's twice a day. In the morning and again 13 hours later. The morning time doesn't seem to matter- for example, I can go at 11 pm the night before and whenever I turn the computer on the next day- say 8 am.

I've noticed healing, but not by the full amount, that I am aware of, and not with Coltzan's that I am aware of. So I'll keep an eye on it and see.

Well, the highest HP any of my pets has is 74, so perhaps it only heals a certain amount.

I think it is the stats. Someone mentioned this somewhere a few months a go. Anyway, I have a fairly old pet with low stats, if I take him to the shrine often something happens. A younger pet of mine which much higher stats (Because I'm training him) very rarely gets anything from the shrine. And I remember right after I created this pet, when he had absolute beginner stats he would get a stat increase almost every day.
