There was a Rove-ianly convenient PPT downage during the last hour of polling though...
Anyway, I had predicted Paul's win but voted Dyl anyway.

But by that logic, wouldn't that mean if people were drumming up last minute votes for Paul also, they wouldn't be able to vote? o.O

the election ended during the downtime also. we were not able to see the results for some time after it ended.

First and foremost, congratulations to Paul! You now have the right to put PPT Unoffical President in your signature. About the downtime; I doubt it had an effect on the elections. The downtime started a few minutes before the polls ended; and since there aren't people in Flordia complaining about how the ballot boxes were confusing 
; we're going to say that the downtime had no real effect, and wasn't planned at all . For those of you who lost, there's always next year ! And Dyl supporters, look at the bright side; at least Dyl's the leader of the opposition . Finally, thanks to all those people who came out and voted; even when your favourite candidate was not included. This was a great election, and I look foward to next years.

. I didn't expect to be nominated, much less do so well. It was definately a great race, even first ending in a tie! It was just crazy, and a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to next year's as well.
