My luck is just getting worse and worse this week. ME and a friend saved and saved for that, it's my main pet, has a mazzew attached and it's lost in the pound. SOmeone adopted it. I mailed them, they said they got it fair and square, which is true. I have offered to pay them, but I just don't have enough, as those who read my 'Starting again from nothing' post will know.

I think this may be the end of Neopets and me.

How much did they want for the Island Quiggle and how much are you short? I may be able to lend you some nps for awhile if you really want/need them. Other than that, I'm very sorry to hear you lost the pet.

They don't seem to want anything, they arn't replying. I just can't believe this. I KNOW you shouldn't transfer pets, but this is HORRIFIC.

I suppose there's not a lot I can say, I've lost pets before but the fact that you've already suffered a blow when you lost everything it must be worse

They want 300K. I think we all know thats not going to happen. I have about 50K.

Plus, how do I know she will even give the stupid thing back at all? She could just take the money and run? What would I do then?

EDIT: PLEASE can anyone lend me 250K? I know it's a lot, but this is so important to me, I have nothing, nothing to sell, this is a smurfing nightmare.

i hate this type of person. just adopting a pet by luck, and trying to profit from it. i wonder when people will understand neopets is a game.

I suppose the only way to work it would be to try and convince her to give it to you first and then you'd pay. I know a number of people have had trouble in the past when they've paid for pets; they've refused to place it in the Pound, they've just placed it in the Pound with no warning (leaving someone else to get it)

Any idea if this person actually wants the pet for a pet or if they just want it for trading or whatever for avatars?



Do you think they might be willing to accept another type of pet in exchange for the Island Quiggle? I have a Fire Usul I'd have no problem parting with...

She wants 150K now, then transfer the pet, then another 150K, but I don't have it!

Try and explain to her that 150k is a lot of money and you're actually going to be losing something tangible if she runs with it at least if she goes first all she loses if you're going to run is a pet she didn't have in the first place... Also, has she said she'd try and garuntee that you'd get the pet back?

We have struck up a deal. 75K, a larnikin and the sponge grundo.

I'm so sorry for you My motto - never, ever tranfer pets unless its absolutely essential, especially if they a rare colour/species. It's not worth risking losing them I hope that person keeps their end of the deal and returns it to you.

We lost it in the transfer again, a coincidence or not? I don't know
