People on the boards are talking about red lines appearing in the comic where there doesn't seem to be any reason for them.

They are saying these red lines may be a clue to how to open the door, if and when the next part of the comic goes live.

Well I was going to screenie, but I am kind of lazy, so anyway, just look at the background of all the comic and there are random red lines and dots. One of them is on the ship behind Lilian when she is saying "Father will be so pleased when we find this island."

Then in comic 2 where Roxton says "You still in one peice, kid?" look behind him at the sunset and at a rock, there seems to be red symbol that looks sort of like a triangle and a line.

Below the xweetok's tail where she says "I can't believe it, the fruit does exist!" There are two red lines like this =.

Wow, whoever saw that first must have very good eyes...lol I can see them, if I look closely, but they wouldn't be anything that I would really notice otherwise. I've found zooming in (right-click on comic and hit "zoom in", right click and hit "show all" to go back to normal) on them helps. I'm not sure if they are anything, but that is interesting.

Yeah there are red lines everywhere, now that I look at it. I don't think it is intentional. I think they must have did the sketch in red and then went back over it, and left some red lines in at some places, by mistake. But it is fun to speculate. I really don't think they mean anything, but there is nothing to do now but wait.

I zoomed in on the door and took a screen shot. I bet our next task is to figure out the combo to open the door. Let's see when the news comes up for tomorrow... :)

Well, hopefully that soon!

Did you ever contact Neopets about this problem? I remember several PPTers letting you know that your puzzle is glitched. It is impossible to solve and use every piece.

You have a 4 x 4 grid. You need to fill 16 squares. Now, count the square value for each of your items:

Net = 5 squares. Crate/Box = 4 squares. Mop = 4 squares (and you have three of them). Duffel Bags = 2 squares (and you have three of them). Toolbox = 3 squares. Ropes = 3 squares (and you have two of them). This is a grand total of 33 squares.

In total, you are trying to shove 33 squares into 16. It just doesn't work. Even if you were on your largest grid... you'd need to fill 36 squares. You wouldn't have enough.

Send this screenshot to the Neopets team so that they can fix it for you. No one here can solve this problem for you.

It looks a bit like the door on the Time Tunnel game.

In reply to the speculation on who's paws are pulling back the leaves at the end of the comment, to me, it looks as if it were ogrin paws, so that could be the captain!

I also think we need to find the code to open the door.

MayEdit: I have changed your image to a link. In the future, please keep all images less than 500 pixels wide. Thank you. :)

Ooh, I hope so! I'm sensing a codebreakers/time tunnel type puzzle maybe. And I love that game! ;) (though the spinning lock in time tunnel makes me dizzy...lol)

I'm pretty good at time tunnel. If it is like that, then I should be able to solve it.

sorry about that but I think I messed up on the screenshot. It is supposed to be on a 6 by 6 grid, when I took a screen shot something messed up somehow because they should add up to 36 squares. I checked

Has anyone tried actually PLAYING time tunnel yet? Maybe we have to play a game, like in the Altador Plot, to get the next clue...

I honestly beleive this may be a Dr. Sloth plot again, like maybe he made the petpetpet's giant and evil through experiment... of course ive also heard that the characters themselves have gotten smaller... who knows maybe that is the curse?

Probably a very dumb question, but... On the map, now that the first part is filled in, what is that little thing next to the big bug head? Is that supposed to be the friendly bug we've already met? Why so much smaller than the one we fought? Or something else.... Like I said, probably totally self evident to everyone but me.
