Neopets is busily fixing my little glitch. So the pound is down. This means many good pets are stuck there. If you were transfering, that is too bad.
I
almost transferred one of my pets this morning, too (my favorite one, to boot). That would... I would have flat-out quit the site if that transfer had been interrupted.
But now I'm afraid to transfer that pet at all.
I can't believe TNT didn't give us any warning about closing off the pound for the day (weekend?). No, scratch that: I believe it, but it doesn't make me any less angry with them. They may not advocate transfers, but they sure as hell are aware of them. They know the users have no alternative means of moving pets from one account to another, and to randomly close the pound like this.... Grah.
Officer 1BDI, not just that, but not to give us warning that they'd completely wipe out the graphics in our shops/guilds/galleries/user lookups. When so many people worked so hard on them. Like we don't matter one whit to them.
Well, anyone remember the Teddy Ruxpin doll? Remember how popular it was and how people were paying huge dollars to get one for their kid. Every kid had to have one. And gosh, hhhhhmmmm, when's the last time you saw one for sale in a store. It became a dinosaur. Sitting on a shelf gathering dust. Just like Neopets will if they don't start appreciating the users that they still have--users that have remained loyal players throughout the years. Sure kids might play this game. For an hour or two after school and for couple of months until it gets boring or too babyish (as happened to my daughter), then they move onto GAIA or WOW. I just bet that if TNT had the sense to do any surveys, they'd see that the people who put in the most hours on this game are people who are older teens or adults who have been here a year or more. So why the freek are they shooting us in the foot like this?
Tested made this fabulous set for me!!! Isn't it great?
