We're discussing this here currently.

We believe it's just a joke implying that Sweetheart was sacrificed to the Snow Beast in the new game. This is backed up by the fact a Polarchuck is a Winter Petpet, implying they would be found on Terror Mountain (and thus be available for sacrifice)

I'm going to lock this now so that the discussion continues in only one thread :D
