recently, my vision would go blank for 0.1 second, as if some one switches the light on and off super fast, i am kind of worried that one day its going to happen so frequently that i become blind....

has any one had the same experience?
does any one know anything why this would happen?

Just randomly, or, for when you stand up, for example. That kind of happens to me. When I stand up. I feel dizzy, like I'm about to faint, and everything goes dark, then light, then dark then light again.

And once I had a fit. Or maybe I was dreaming that...

If you're concerned about it enough to post it here, I'd recommend getting it checked out by your doctor. Even if it's nothing, it will put your residual fears to rest and allow you to move on with your life.

Hold onto your seats people... the SL is back.

Yep, Kym gave great advice. :) Do you get a bit dizzy as well? If so, your blood sugar might be a bit low or you might be dehydrated. If that's the case, try to drink more water and juices (real juice, not colored sugar water lol). Sports drinks like Gatorade are good, too. :)

In the past, I used to have something like it as well, although not much. The room would just look a bit more brightened, but not to the extend that I couldn't see anymore. It stopped eventually, I think the doctor is good advice. Better safe than sorry

I had that problem for a while, especially when I got out of bed in the morning or stood up after sitting for a long time. I was told it was a result of an iron deficiency.

I sometimes have that, after getting up, waking up, etc. my vision gets fuzzy like the TV for a few seconds and I can't see, but it gets better. Yeah, see a doctor.

Something like that happened to me, but I didn't really worry. It wasn't anything like standing up too fast or something. I was walking with friends and all of a sudeen for like 3 seconds, I could hear them, but I couldn't see anything, just like I was sleeping or something, was weird. but then, it came back and never happened again..
(This happened like 2 months ago btw)

Sometimes I'll get dizzy, and my vision will go all sparkly for a few seconds. A couple times it's led to fainting. I don't really pay much attention to it, although I probably should...

I have that constantly, haha. Almost 100% of the time after I stand up after sitting down, I get dark blotches for a few seconds. Same for if I stand up too long. Or occasionally I just get them from doing nothing. Or exercising too hard in PE. I told my mom about it, she basically just told me to suck it up. :P See a doctor if you're really worried, but it's probably nothing.

i dont feel dizzy, or encounters it while in a certain position, or having it last more than half a second probably.

looks like no one has it quite like me huh.

A particular kind of migraine does that- my sister has that type, and she will go blind in ther right eye from anywhere from a few seconds to 15 minutes, more if she has caffiene.

I suggest going to see an optician.
