Hikaru just watched the latest events wearily. She had used more magic than usual, plus the fact that she had been running around half the time.

She nearly stopped the General, but decided against it. Something told her they would meet again.

The old white mage left and the professer started cleaning up. She shook her head hard. "I don't get it........" she mumbled to herself. She raised her voice.
"Professer, hold on please. I'll help in a minute or two."
Hikaru turned to Jerovya. "Jerovya. Tell me what you know about the Dark Cult. Please."
It was all just too confusing. If the Dark Cult was trying to stop ruthless killing, why were they killing everything in their way? What would that have to do with the professer? And what had Jerovya really wanted when he came to the professer?

Jeroyva stood near the door, in between the Professor and Hikaru. "Actually, I know about as much as everyone else about the Dark Blade, but i'll try to tell you anything I know," began Jeroyva. "The Blade was originally started about thirty years before the war. They were more religious, and less military-like, but their purposes and doctrine were the same: if a group was fighting, they picked sides and used their power to kill that side's enemy in the name of their "god of darkness', or as they called it, Darkness. Early on, they were much more devoted to Darkness, and they did not kill meaninglessly; but they've changed, especially since the war began. They chose, instead of one side, to destroy everything. They've always had an eye-for-an-eye mentality, but they've decided that only they are right this time, so, they're purging everyone."
The professor looked at Jeroyva. "You seem afraid, as if you... don't believe you can reveal your true self. Why?" Jeroyva looked at the ground, then looked up, speaking hesitantly. "They've been paying me. The Warrior Army. I was... I was sent here to kill you. But you're not someone who deserves to die. I saw you, and I realized,hey, it's possible to be a good person without being a murderer. I've been doing various assasinations for a year; it's the only way my sister could stay alive. But recently, I've stopped killing, and I leave with only information. The Warrior Army doesn't like that, but I'm there best. A new recruit last week, though, proved to be my equal. I think thy told me to kill you so that I would be eliminated. I was wrong, and I nearly died because of it."
The professor seemed to not notice that he was talking to someone who nearly attempted to assasinate him. "This new recruit... what do you know about him?" He seemed very worried. "He had left the Dark Blade, because of their brutal methods," replied Jeroyva. The Professor stared into the sky. "This... could go a lot farther than just an army," he said. "It could mean the death of every mage on this island, or worse. We must know what they are planning."
Jeroyva looked at the Professor. "What does that mean?" "The Warriors may be working with the Dark Blade, and so far, you're the only person we've got with connections to the Warriors."

okay, so i aint great at making my appearance on these TBRPGs. any ideas?

((You could casually walk along to the house see the mess, be surprised, look at Jerovya and scream "Warrior!" and run at him or something. Not all that hard really.))

Hikaru processed the information in her head as she helped clean up.
The Dark Blade....... they had seemed so sure that they were helping the world. Or were they just lying?
"Professer."She called and when he turned walked over. "If the Warriors are desprate enough to have the Dark Blade help them. doesn't that mean they're losing? So perhaps Stijn would be with the warriors now......"She trailed off.
"Also, it is just a thought, but if the mages find out that the warriors are bonding with the Dark Blade, won't they do something just as bad?"
She paused. There was something that was bothering her.
Hikaru turned to Jerovya. "Wher exactly is your sister?"

tested; it would be more helpful if you typed your quotes with better conventions- that way its easier to read @_@ new line for a quote or reply.

The Professor looked at Hikaru. "The Dark Blade only assists those who it thinks will win. Because the Warriors are receiving help from them, it may be inevitable. The only other possible solution is that the Dark Blade is manipulating this entire war: that they're acting as commanders for both sides, so that they can destroy everything. Considering the Dark Blade's methods up until now, that may be the most likely thing. The haven't been involved anywhere since before the war began; perhaps they've secretly been running everything. It doesn't help that we have all the conspiracy theories laid out for us, since we're powerless to stop it." He looked at his partially-destroyed house. "But," he said, as he restored the building from a tree, "we all have our own skills that we can use, connections we can take advantage of. We can stop whatever the Dark Blade is starting; it may just be a matter of finding out who knows what."
Jeroyva considered what the Proofessor said. "My sister is probably in my mother's house. I still own it. I should probably go there. Besides, it's getting dark." He left.

Hikaru sighed. The boy was right, and she had to get home.
I've had enough excitement for one day, she thought wearily, biding the professer good bye, and walking slowly to her house.
And somehow she knew tomorrow would hold perhaps more excitement.
Today she should just rest and ready herself for whatever came.

Jeroyva walked up to his late mother's house. "Maria?" he shouted.
His sister walked out. "Did your mission go well?" She looked glad to see him. He was certainly glad to see her.
"It... changed. I don't know what we'll be doing now. We may be in danger; we might have to leave."
They walked inside. Jeroyva described the day's events. It was getting dark, but they were in the basement. They were safe, for now. The army didn't know where Jeroyva lived.

Ai stopped abruptly. She thought she had heard a pattering of someones foot. A slow smile spread on her face...She had a good idea on who it was. Not necessarily sure, she kept walking down the path which, in the long run, lead to the place where Ai was originally dwelling before her travels. As old as she was, she wasn't completely without friends- most of the people she knew were white mages that had long talks with her to find out any nes or to discuss any matters of urgency, important or not. One person she was particularily fond of was a white mage named Eragonia. Ai trudged on, thinking how she would love to see the young one soon.

Could someone tell me what has happend so far?And where we are?

Jeroyva was sent to kill the Professor, a Geomancer, by the Warrior Army in a great war on Karshaw. Hikaru stopped him with distrust, and the three spoke. Then General Thorn, who's in the Dark Blade cult, brought a small group. The group discovered that the Dark Blade was trying to end the war with force. Thorn left, fused with Aris, a White Magus General who was originally from the Mage Army. It's now believed that the Dark Blade is aligned with the Warriors.]]

The professor watched the birds fly through the sky. Though he had originally been lying, Jeroyva was right. This island was killing itself. They would have to find a way off of the island, before the Blade killed everybody. They would, of course. The Blade was too strong to be destroyed by a small rebellion. Unless the entire island went up against them, they would all die. It was too early to think about that. The birds flew around. Perhaps that wolud be their survival. They could fly. But they would need wings...
The day's events had awoken a desire in the Professor to live, and prosper. That would change the future of everyone involved.

Ai continued to tread, seemingly forever. Though Ai did not care, she did start to get tired. Spotting some heavily foliaged trees ahead, Aetha-Athris stood in the middle of a coincidentally circularly formed ring of trees, and sat down. She closed her eyes and meditated while thinking of when she might come across Eragonia, and if it was possible she was back home. Home was such a good word to Ai currently. It seemed full of new things and life, hope, all things that might inspire writers and artists to express themselves...
As she continued to think, she thought of how the professor had seemed so confident in wanting change. And the young boy, Jeroyva...he seemed special in the events that led her to the spot where he was. Washing the thoughts out of her mind, she stood up feeling a lot more refreshed. But stopped as she stood.
