This is a fun thread! I only have one pet, and she's just the way I want her to stay. Having just one pet makes it a little easier to train for the battledome, but it was really hard to pick WHICH one. Finally picked the one I thought was the prettiest, since it's fun to whomp zombies in 1-player BD with a gorgeous girly pet.

Well, it depends on how you ask.

I have 8 permies on 3 accounts now. If I were to start over from scratch choosing just on my favorite colors, I think I'd have:




And for the eighth slot... dunno, so many choices: Faerie Bori, most other Boris, Darigan Peophin, Grey Wocky, etc. etc.

As it is, my pets now have particular stories and personalities and these colors wouln't necessarily suit them. So what I actually have is:

On my main:

The blue Eyrie isn't changing unless they release some totally amazing Eyrie color. (Maybe not even then, since she's my battle pet and I lab her occasionally, and morphing her back is expensive enough as it is. Plus, I find it amusing that the pet I've spent the most NP on is my basic-colored pet.

The cloud Aisha probably isn't going to change, though if the Camouflage Aisha had been out when I painted her I might have gone that road instead.

The Darigan Peophin might change into a Faerie Peophin. I feel bad about about painting over the perfect zap (I was zapping for Darigan Peophins and got one -- how great is that?) but I really, really love Faerie Peophins.

The Green Zafara is a temporary color for an ex-labbie become permie that I've never been able to decide on a color for. I was thinking Faerie Bori, but $$$. Plus, the normal Bori poses are so cute. I may go white Bori instead.

On sides:

I'm now zapping for Maraquan Buzzes again: the one I have I adopted from someone else and the name has kept me from getting attached to him. (For one thing, it's all lowercase.) If I ever get a Fountain Faerie quest on my main, I'm re-arranging some pets and getting a cool pet and an avatar in one fell swoop.

I keep thinking about getting a Maraquan Krawk, but having done it once with my Maraquan Draik, I think there are other ways to spend the NP I might like better than making an expensive pet on a side account I rarely visit.

I have those two already, an Aisha, and a lab pet. I'd really like to transform my shadow Aisha into a Draik, and paint it grey. I realize that grey Draiks don't exist yet, but by the time I save up for the potion and paint brush, they probably will.

The two I have that I don't plan on changing anytime soon:

The Lupe was Stone until they turned Stone into Island. I hated the Island Lupe(and I'm not fond of the made-over version either). Shadow was as close to Stone as I could get. The Kougra was Faerie from the old Faerie Fountain, and I gradually found myself liking it less and less. So my first FFQ went to making him Grey instead.
Recently my lab pet got turned into this:

I'm not sure if I'm going to keep him as he is, but I like it enough for now that I've started labbing another pet(formerly a Desert Wocky, which I also got from the original Rainbow Fountain and which was also less appealing as time went by).

I finished the plot so I might be able to change him but then Id be torn between an awsome bd item and my dream pet

Right now, I'm thinking about painting my already-purple Aisha, Darigan.

I'm so sure what I want to paint my red Lupe.

I have 2 of my dream pets so far - mutant and darigan draiks and 2 (halloween lupe on a side and faerie pteri I got from the lab on my main) that I don't plan on changing. Eventually I want to have my pets like this:

The fourth spot on the side account I'm not sure on yet but either MSP or a lutari if I can ever get one. Other pets I might like enough to put on another side account would be island aisha, faerie xweetok or darigan yurble. Of course, except for the ones I already have, I won't be getting the rest of these for quite awhile since some of them are quite expensive and I'm going to be training my battle pet for awhile first.

I'm giving my jubjub to a person in my guild. I want some colours to come out for the lutari, but I'll have to wait until they make some ¬_¬
I'm just leaving the cybunny (because I've wanted one for ages) and the pteri (I love the name).

My dream pet used to be a Faerie Uni, but I have that now. Now, all I want is a Mallow Grundo.

Seriously, I want one so bad. I keep adopting Grundos, labbing them until they become something else, and dumping them in the pound. (I know, I know...) No luck so far, but I'm not going to give up until I get one.

Yeah, yellow's my favorite Wocky color. Makes things a bit simpler, doesn't it?

I'm still working on the Faerie Grarrl and the Pink Wocky, but I've got the other two. They came that way. Gotta love the pound.

It's really fun to think about the endgame plans for my pets. Great thread!

The Kacheek is my ex-lab pet, turned battler, and the Uni is my current lab pet, recently morphed for the avatar.

For my battling pet I would absolutley LOVE:


Instead of my Luatari:


I'd paint my Tonu grey:


And for my lab pet... I'd love a Garlic Kiko. Or a Chokato Kiko.

I have some of my dream pets now, and am still working on others.

The ones I have are:


I am trying to decide if I should paint my Lenny Faerie or try to lab her. And if I should paint my Xweetok Faerie or wait and see what other colors they come out with.

I also have a Lutari from the lab that I am still labbing. She is the forth pet on my main account and I would transfer her if I could. I also can't transfer my other 3 pets for fear I would lose my Krawk, Draik or MSP. I like having a lab rat on that account.

An of course the ever-elusive, non-existant, will-never-be Grey Draik. He has a paintbrush waiting for him.

*sigh* That face alone is worth the 6 million NP price tag. Too bad TNTs keep dragging their feet on that color/species combo.
