Well, those were the words that put me on the right path. I looked at them and figured out where the words were coming from.

Another hint: if he kept going with his speech, he'd end up welcoming you. A lot. It's as if the words were pieced together from--*bang, crash, plane-landing-noise*.

(No, the answer is not "welcome".)
