A group of Neopets climb to the top of Terror Mountain to retreive The Jewel of the Ages, but Jhudora wants it just as much. So they have to battle extreme weather and terror.

A small Darigan Eyrie was studying history when he came across a page that said, "And the Jewel of the Ages has been sought for for ages. And is rumored to be on the top of Terror Mountain."
"I've got to find it." Mano mumbled to himself. Later, he put a flyer on the notice board and within the week, he got calls.

Koumu saw the flyer on the board, and called not because she wanted to go, but just because she wanted to know about the jewel. She also wanted to know what would happen if Mano DID find it...........
The red shoryu thought he'd probably hang up on her but tryed anyway.

The phone rang at Mano's house, "Hello, this is Mano, may I ask who's calling?"

"Hello....... I'm Koumu. M-may I ask you some questions?"
Koumu was not good with phones, for some strange reason.

"Why sure! What do you want to know?" Mano smiled at the thought that she might want to know about the jewel.

Tyveculus, a Halloween Kougra, looked at the bulletin. He was immediately interested, but decided to wait a moment to call Mano. Others were probably calling him at the moment.

"What exactly is the history of the jewel? What would you do if you found it? e-er....."
Koumu just plain wanted to go on an adventure, and yet she wasn't sure...

"Um, I don't know a lot about it, but it has a lot of power." Mano typed in the name of the Jewel on his computer. "It says here, it was formed along time ago, and not much is known about it." Mano looked at his computer with a puzzled look.

Tyveculus eventually mustered up the courage to call the number. He got a busy signal. He hung up the phone, syaing, "I thought so..."

Koumu made her decision at last.
"I-I-I'd like to go." she said."I'm not super strong or anything...... but......"
She paused. "Oh, I'm sorry, I have to go. I think I'll call back later..... Thanks." She quickly hung up the phone and went about her business.

Mano was able to get Komu's number before she hung up. "I'm going to have to call her back." He sat back and smiled. This was going to work!!

Tyveculus finally decided to try the number again. He walked to the billboard and looked at the number. He went to the payphone across the street and put in a few Neopoints. He placed the call and waited for an answer on the other line.

"Hello?" Mano asked eagerly.

"Um, yes... Hello.." Tyveculus said into the reciever, hearing someone stir on the other end of the line. "I am calling in reference to an ad I noticed on one of the local billboards concerning an expedition to find a jewel. I was wondering if there was some sort of application to fill out, or if there are any vacancies left in the expedition."

"Your only the second one to call. And no, you don't have to fill out anything. All you have to do is say you want to come."
