It's not really a cheat, it's just a slightly faster way of doing it.

I don't seem much point of doing it that way, anyway.

Yesterday I won the jackpot three times in a row, resulting in 43K.

When you move the hold rate, it's not the very end. I have mine on the fourth knotch from the end.
I hope this helps.

yeah, I found that I had to experiment with it. mine is about 25% away from the slowest speed. basically, move it around until when you hold down the enter key, the status bar keeps flashing that it is submitting the page, but the actual window does not update unless you let go of the button.

So, basically, If it goes to a new Page, you did it wrong?

Basically, yes.

Although, when I do it, every once in a while, it will get ahead of itself and after about 100 refreshes it will show a new page or it will say page cannot load. If this happens, I just hit the "back" button, select "Play Dice-a-Roo" and hold down the enter key again.

If your computer is showing the next page (the red die page) every time, or almost every time, then you need to adjust the timing of the key-repeats. You don't want it to repeat so fast that the internet connection can't keep up in sending the info, but you don't want it to be so slow that the internet has time to send it and get a response back before the next one goes through.

Is there a guide or article somewhere that explains what you all are talking about? I've just been playing it the regular way, with DSL, and haven't gotten to the silver die yet.

erm... playing by holding the enter key only makes the process faster, it does not help you get to the silver dice, that's pure random luck, no guides to the silver dice..... though if you do get to the silver dice, remember to clear your inventory of anything you want to keep, because the ? dice on silver may cause the pant devil to pop up, I have about 5 items stolen in that way in 1 round before...

I've been keeping track of my dice-a-roo games, and playing the regular way, I'd get 2-3 items every 20 games. I just got done trying it the fast way discussed here and I didn't get one item.

EDIT: So is there a sixth die like the Blumaroo says, or is that just there to make people wonder? Does anyone know?

Great ways to get random food-stuffs, and faerie quests mebbe. I usually have 10 items for about 3 minutes of button held, this is assuming either you have the patience to hold on to enter, or some item to hold down your button other than your hands while you do something else until your pet gets desperately sick of dice-a-roo.

Does your problem still exist?

How do you get over your Pet's problem of not wanting to play again.

You wait until the next day before playing again. Your pet getting bored with some non-Flash games is just Neopets' way of keeping you from playing the same game all day.

For this game, I recommend that you do not leave anything to hold down the F5 key because TNT will freeze you for that. They have that as cheating (I know, I was shocked to see that there as well). Just hold down the F5 button for NO MORE THAN 3 MINUTES. Otherwise, consider yourself chilled.
