I've been tab checking a 20x20 grid but the archive appears to be extending past two thousand.

hey anyone tried to enter the other clubs after the astronomy incident?

Nothings changed with them.

Although what I find weird is: if it was the blue quiggle running the astronomy club, why didn't he want us to join his other clubs?

What he says does change, cause when you went to him he ust said "You look at the flyer on the bulletin board. It seems to be advertising an herbalism Club!
"Join the herbalism Club! Learn about Altador's many species of plants and how they can be used to create potions, used in cooking, or used to decorate your NeoHome! Now accepting new members."
"We don't have room for the likes of you!"
Oh dear! Despite the flyer, it seems that the Herbalism Club isn't accepting new members at the moment."

Now it says "You look at the flyer on the bulletin board. It seems to be advertising an Herbalism Club!

"I suppose you could join. What? You've already joined the Astronomy Club? Well fine! I didn't want you in my club anyway!"
Oh dear! It seems that by joining the Astronomy Club, you've upset the Quiggle (:D), and he refuses to let you join his club!"

All I know about the water thing. Is that random clicking was my friend. It only took me like 10 minutes. But yeah. Good luck.
And the lights in the Hall of Heroes were off before I entered in my constellation, but after I got my clue. Don't really know if that has been said at all. Or if it is important at all.

oh right. It would be 256. I was thinking there were 3 valves in each room, but there's actually 8 total, so it would be 2^8.

What do I do if I can't find my amulet! Is it supposed to be in my inventory?

Sorry for the post!

No. It's like the telescope; you can put it on the statues by clicking on their necks.

No, the result does not depend on your choice of which room you're in. The switches in the other rooms matter (or it probably does). In other words, it's not (one of 2 states)^(each of 3 valves) * (one of 3 rooms), but ((one of two states)^(each of 3 valves))^(each of 3 rooms).

Actually, now that I look again, the first room only has 2 valves, so it's 2^2 * 2^3 * 2^3, or 256.

You're completely right now that I've looked through the rooms. That's going to be a pain trying to do 256 combinations...maybe I'll hit the right one early on :P How long did it take you guys?

The best way to do it is to do it systematically. When you reset your valves, go to the 3rd room and set the last lever to down. Then set the rest to up, including in other rooms. (Do the same for the wheels). Go through the last room, though every possible combination, then go back to the second room, and back again. It goes by pretty fast. You'll eventually find it. If it's just random, then it's a more fun way to do it than haphazardly clicking.

I guess the amulet DOES NOT go in your inventory.

it's not an actual object. if you click on the chests of the statues though it'll show up on them.

Heh, I clicked on a few random things in the water plant and got it. After getting the contellation and everything, I went back to check on the farmer, who now complains there is too much water. I go back to the plant and they want you to fix it. When I go into the rooms and click on anything they say that everything is working right and that you've fixed it.

Every time you enter the plant they want you to fix it. And the farmner will always tell you it's broken, regardless.

It´s NOT supose 2 be in your inventory, i think they thought it was way too valuable to carry it and maybe be stolen or transformed in sludge.
to see if you have the amulet go to a statue and click on the chest.
the amulet should apear on the statue. when you leave you automatically bring the amulet

Location: It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a Grue.
You know the "flooded altador" thing is pretty funny considering all the theories about altador sinking or being surrounded by water because of that piece of the city in the background of the map, with the water around it.

Plus it looks like Isengard after it flooded. :D

*edit* Or New Orleans, heh.

It changed to that after you first joined the astronomy club

Also- doesn't the archivist say that the lights go out after you take the amulet?
