I've hit the storekeeper and the refresh button...no dice

OK, first experience of doing this was over 1/2 hour ago. Shouldn't the petpet shop have restocked by now? I've been refreshing the whole time (in between posting).

So.....something's up. Not sure what though.

I've looked at the source code for both the petpet shop and the food shop - and there's no hints there.

I'm wondering if I should have checked the source code of the "you have now bought the altalaphous"

Hehe, I checked the source code of the petpet shop also...nothing.
Clicking everything clickable in the hall of heroes and altadorian archives...nothing.

Maybe I should check the page source of the gardening club page?

I'm getting the same results as angisfab. Nothing, and I do mean nothing, is coming up at the Altadorian Petpet shop for me.

Ok, then perhaps it was simply a glitch - but I still find it interesting that even with three of us refreshing, that no petpets are showing up at all now.

I saw an Altachuck once, but after that (and many refreshes) there was nothing. I also looked around Altador for baskets, since that's what she's holding on her TCG card, but there aren't any that I could find. That would have been too simple anyway.

I'm beginning to suspect that I am not very good at this plot stuff.

How much NP did you have in hand when you did it? It might have something to do with it.

Of course if you don't remember, it's not something we can test....

7900+ (don't remember the last two digits - other than that neither one was 0)

I do remember that after I paid for it, I was left with 2226 np.

Wait a second, since Safari keeps track of these things, I figured it out - I paid 5726 NP for it, and was left with 2226 NP, so that means I went in with: 7952 NP.

I'm back with 10,000 - just saw another single pet, but wasn't able to buy it.

I've been refreshing for the last ten minutes and have seen two pets come up (at individual times). Unfortunatly they were both sold out before I could buy one.

Even if they aren't plot-related, I'd like one of the cute little critters anyways.

What's the name of the satyr looking petpet at the Gatherer's right foot?

Cuz the only other thing that has come up for me besides the two above? Is some weird lenny looking kind of petpet that I can't remember the name of.

I'm not sure, but I bet it starts with "alta"!

I can't imagine the next part of the puzzle involves buying petpets and equipting them. What about the people who have aged petpets on all of their pets? What about the new players who can barely scrape enough NP together to keep their pets fed? What about the people on dial-up who can't possibly grab a pet from the shop?

Well, the other thing I was thinking of was feeding the altalaphous some altadorian bread and cheese - well, now I have bread and cheese, but can't figure out any way to feed it to the petpet.

I just noticed...Finneus looks up, "as if he sees something in the distance" when he thinks he's starting to remember something. Maybe that is a clue?

EDIT: Has anybody checked out all the ceiling tiles about the heroes?

Uh hi. Was around here for a while now.. but didn't sign up an account until today.

I tried putting some petpets into the cooking pot with the Astronomy Club and Astro thingys.. but it didn't appear to work either.

The other petpet is a Haalala. I have an Alabiss now.. but it is not one on the staute.. still can't find a clue.. was wondering about the Herder game.. that is 'gathering'.. has that been mentioned?
