I have been stuck on this one DON mission forever. These are my battle pet's stats..

Level 58

Hit Points : 173 / 173
Strength : AMAZING (89)
Defence : EXCELLENT (54)
Movement : AMAZING (80)

My main weapons that I use are two Lost Desert Daggers that have wiped out all my opponents so far.. but I can't get anywhere with the Sloth Clones. I have a yellow sticky hand also and a leaf shield. I'm open to buying other weapons too. Any advice on how to get through this mission?

Let me get this straight... you opened up a can of whoop-ass on the Giant Ghostkerchief (difficulty 250) with two Lost Desert Daggers, but then you can't beat the piddly old Sloth Clone at difficulty 85? I don't know if I can help you much. I suggest you get one more defense point so that the Leaf Shield works better.

Yep, the ghost guy was no problem. I've fought the clones about 15 times and cannot get by them.

I don't understand that. I've beaten the Sloth Clones before with stats slightly better than yours... and still can't beat the Ghostkerchief. Either you got EXTREMELY lucky, or you're not doing something right.

I am also finding this hard to believe! When did you beat the ghostkerchief, and what did you/he do in each round?

I never even bothered keeping track of how I beat the clones -- they're so much easier than the opponents that came before them that I can't see how anyone who got this far would have a problem. I guess... just get a freezer (snowglobe staff or black frost cannon will work, but you may have to withdraw if you don't freeze him first round), and you should probably switch the LDDs out for something like Stone Club (9 icons, 100k) or even Scarab Ring (which does the same iconage as LDD but defends you as well, and is super, super cheap). And at some point soon you will probably be needing a Honey Potion, if you can afford it. And a greater healing scroll, which heals 50 HP and is only around 30k.

The ghostkerchief was mission 9, correct? I don't remember what I did it was when the mission first came out.

I did end up beating the sloth clones. I probably should have tried before posting this as I have upped my stats a little since the last time I fought them. They just beat me so easily last time I figured they would again. Anyway thanks for the help.

ETA: I do remember how the sloth clones beat me last time. They kept hypnotizing me. One almost got me this time (got me down to 16 hitpoints), but 3 were fairly easy.

ETA2: If the ghostkerchief was mission 9, I just looked and it says I haven't fought him.., but I completed that comic and am on mission 11 now, the snowbeast....

You are one EXTREMELY lucky person, not having to beat the Ghostkerchief. I'm not quite sure how that happened, but OK. If you were having trouble with the Sloth Clones, you're in really bad shape going against the Snow Beast. You're really going to have to level up some.

Oh I plan to level up more and buy new battledome items. The clones were fairly easy this time around, only one used the hypno helmet and I had leveled up quite a bit from the last time I fought them (ages ago) and just didn't realize it I guess. Anyway, thanks for the help guys and Cranberry thanks for the weapon advice.
