Try all the combinations I listed in my early post (I know it takes patience). After each combination, leave the punch club and then return. This way, you will be free to try a new combination without spill overs from previous sequences. After each sequence, Check the goblet between punch bowl 2 and 3, not the one in his hand. Good luck.

I just wanted to emphasize this for those who are still looking. I used the back button dropdown menu (ie, when you click the down-arrow next to the word "back", you get a dropdown menu of all the sites you have visited recently) to take myself back to the page where it says "go with him to the punch club." (after you've clicked on 3 punches, that will be the FOURTH one in your list.)

This makes it SO much easier to keep track of what number you are on in your list, and what combination actually unlocked it for you!

Well, going back to theories:

The Archivist has said that it was one of the Heroes behind it. I'm also pretty sure that he said it wasn't the Darkest Faerie. So what about Altador?

Seriously. What do we know about the guy? The land's named after him, and he recruited the other heroes. But what else? Nothing. And as, conveniently, nobody else can remember anything about the history, could it be that it is King Altador behind the whole plot? It would be a surprise, and we've all heard stories about the dastardly king before. Why couldn't it be King Altador who has been hiding all the history books, because, now that the kingdom is beginning to reawaken, he doesn't want all the new visitors to know how he ruled and ruined the country before?

We know King Altador was a hunter and the Darkest Faerie broke his heart and betrayed him...or perhaps it was the other way around? What is this great betrayal?

Except that the Archivist also said he did not believe the hero using the majic was malicious. Maybe when he is found as the last, the returning history and memory will reveil a good reason for the lack of memory. There certainly have been plenty of movies and shows with just that theme.

Maybe Altador removed it for a good reason - maybe the Darkest Faerie was being too dangerous, so Altador sealed the kingdom to prevent the Darkest Faerie from taking over - like in the Legend of Zelda.

Considering Neopets, it seems more likely that it is finally safe to bring everything back than that we are suppose to expose the evil of the king and track him down for punishment. Alfter all there is not supposed to be a war either.

Considering Neopets, the king will just say 'Oopsie, silly me, I'll just sort it all out again', and everything will be made all right and good.

this has definitely been the easiest one to find for me--the constellation was ALL colored stars for me, so they stuck out really obviously!

Ok, so maybe he was in love with the DF and was very sad that she betrayed him and didn't want to see anything to remind him of it...so he hid all the history books?
OR
From the prologue in the book in the archives:
Within this tome you will find the recorded history of the twelve heroes and how they came to form the Kingdom of Altador. Protect this knowledge well, for it may be all that is left if Jerdana's magic fails and the betrayer succeeds....

That would fit - King Altador hid the history just in case the kingdom was destroyed (or whatever it was the DF was trying to do to Altador) so there would be a record that survived.

So the history could be safe to return now that the Dark Faerie has been defeated in the PS2 game.

I do like the idea Altador, but he comes across as SUCH good character...maybe some TCG cards will give clues?

I mean, the only other 'bad guy' is kelland, the thief. Perhaps he was in league with the darkest faerie? Or, as some sort of twist, whoever is the real history-stealer will be stopped by the thief? Oooh so many possibilities...

This states that JERDANA has magic, and we've been hearing a lot about her lately, in other plots. She seems to be quite famous, as the magic and history of her has been noticed before. Perhaps jerdana has done this, as she is revealing constellations with 'good magic' and stealing history...because...maybe she feels jealous of the others? Or perhaps the other leave her out? So many possibilities it hurs my head...

SNak Edit: Oh my. Please do not DOUBLE (or Triple...) POST. If you ahve something to add and noone else has posted after you, use the EDIT button instead and add it in that post. Thanks

I've been thinking *flash* begin brain thinking process!...

We all know that Jerdana's magic is what Protects Altador from the Darkest Faerie. It's that ord around The Darkest Faeries neck that stops the "sleeper" from waking.

We also know that for some reason Altadors history had been hidden from them, and that there is a magic thats revealling constellations.

Think back to when Altador was first released.

"Altador and its heroes have returned after a thousand year slumber. While the city begins to flourish as it once had long ago, many Neopians wonder how it came to disappear in the first place. "

Maybe it dissapeared, because the city was pruposely hidden. Without all twelve heroes, perhaps Altador could fail to function porperly.

It would make sense that Jerdana's magic, being what protects Altador, was used to hide Altador.

Think about it. If you were living in a city, and one of the people who was meant to protect the city turned out to be "evil", you would suspect the others too. Also the reputation of the city would be at stake, leaving it vunerable to being taken over by another hierarchy. this could be so with Altador.

Jerdana may have hidden the history of the city to protect it citizens, and stop a change that would change Altador for the worse.

Also, if you think even more deeply than that, whats to stop people who are on the side of the Dark Faerie from rising up and helping her wake up. It looks so easy to slip that orb off of the Dark Faeries neck, especially when she is underwater.

Maybe the only thing the stops the Dark Faerie from waking is preventing the knowledge of the Dark Faerie from existing.

However, it seems that this isn't so. The magic thats revealling the constellations is abviously trying to help the city of Altador. The obvious conclusion is that this is Jerdana's magic, as it seems to be trying to help Altador.

Looking back on the original Dark Faerie plot, the Dark Faerie took over Altador by making its citizens not even realise what was happening.

This draws parralels with the plot today, as it seems that something is going on, and the citizens of Altador arent even aware of it.

This is all highly probable, yet possibly impossible [This quote aound farmiliar?]

Another thing I've noticed. everyone seems to think that the statue under the water in the remains of Maraqua is the Darkest Faerie. Seems to think.

The best way of taking over a city is by doing it in secret. By doing it in secret, you need to remain hidden. One of the best ways of remaining hidden is to create decoys...

I rest my case.

*click* brain thinking sequence switched to off

I found mine, but with dial up it was a little tedious.

When I saw the suggestions about 1-2-1, etc. I thought it meant click the first once, the second twice, and the third once.

Does it mean that? or does it mean click the first one time, then the second one time, then the first one time again?

In other words, does each position in the 1-1-1 indicate a particular cup? or does it indicate a click on the cup that is named, in this case cup #1.

I am thinking that I misunderstood and no wonder it took me so long to figure it out. I was clicking the first cup the number of times in the first number, then the second cup the number of times indicated by the second number, then the third cup the number of times indicated by the third number.

And I wonder if others are also mistaking what the numbers mean.
