Hmm well in one of the Neopian Times someone asked if TNT has any problems with people helping other people finding constellations. TNT said no... <snip>
So...my point *deep breath* the star finders (mine and stodder's) I believe falls into the top category which mean that the theory that neopets shuts them down is a bit wild
Neopets could not shut down your star finder because it's not on a neopets site; it's not in TNT's control. If they were bothered by it, they'd send you a "warning", or at worst freeze you. That article seems to indicate they are fine with it. That, plus the fact that you haven't been warned or frozen yet. I'm sure they'd heard of your site.
TNT can and has had sites shut down. I don't know about the constellation finder sites. I think those are just way too much traffic, especially in so short a period of time. People find out there's a new clue/constellation and run to get the info. Maybe they think (and maybe) it will be like the LDP - that the time it takes you to find your constellation will have anything to do with whatever happens at the end of the plot. On the other hand, you never know. The star map doesn't find the stars for you, it gives you your star map and a guide so you can find it yourself. The other gives the exact coordinates.
yea but the thing is on my first host i had 5000 megs of bandwith and only 500 used up, i kinda figured i might run out of bandwith but it definitly wasnt that early, i dunno i just think that neopets might have contacted the webmaster, otherwise the site also would say bandwith exceeded, then the site woudl com eback again after a month. not to mention im not even able to log into my control panel's on the sites anymore.
neways if anybody has a place i could put my star finder on i have all 12 constellations found just need a place to host it.
Pm me, I have a server you can use.
