If you don't want to change resolution, keep a sidebar such as favourites on screen.

I have a 17" monitor with a resolution of 1024x768 and I keep my favourites as a sidebar on screen which for me is a perfect setting for Neopets.

As far as I, know there isn't. I feel your pain, though. My resolution is 1280x800 so I get a lot of space too. However, it can be ignored once you get used to it. :)

I'm on 1280x800 and I have a ton of blank space. You really do get used to it though, I don't even notice it anymore. :)

You shouldn't change your resolution (especially not if you have a lcd, it will make everything look blurry). The up side to having half a blank screen, is that you don't have to scroll as much vertically. And you'll get used to it anyway.

You know, you don't have to fill the screen with the browser window. My browser window is only 800 pixels wide, which means I can put more stuff on the screen.

for neopets to fill the screen, I believe you need to set your resolution to 800x600...

Personally, I'd recommend keeping the higher resolution and either leaving your favorites menu open or docking your aim/msn/yahoo buddylist to one side of the screen. I know I prefer to keep my optimal resolution running =) sounds like most of the other friendly people that have answered here agree ^_~

I never noticed. I have a high screen resolution myself, but I never maximize my browser window. ^^"; I always leave my msn windows on the right side of the screen so I can IM and play neopets or surf the web while I'm at it, without having to alt+tab all over the place.

My resolution is 1024x768. And like everyone else, you wont even notice all the blank space on Neo after a while. :D

My resolution is set at 1280 x 1024 on a 19". Like everyone else said, you get used to the blank space. With the higher resolution, you can see more on the page when you restock and such, so I find it is an advantage. :)

That's what I do. My screen resolution is 1028x1024 (or something like that), but my browser window is much smaller. It's nice for when yo have multiple windows open at the same time or are running another program and surfing. And it's nice just seeing my desktop background, the empty space I see surfing the internet is irritating. Especially if it's white, it's like I can feel myself getting carpal tunnel.
