I'm having an extremely difficult time locating my farmer constellation. The previous ones were easy. Anyone want to help me out?

Just PM me if you are up for the challenge.
Two people have already looked with no luck.

It's a distinct possibility. I think it's like in the LDP - the clues are given, but it is possible to find it for yourself, only in this plot it is a lot easier to find for yourself.

So:

It sure is interesting watching those lights on the ceiling light up. What are you getting up to in that observatory, anyway?

Could this be the thief, as the janitor is suspicious of what you are doing? I've forgotton most of the others

EDIT: Or maybe it could be the Protector, as the janitor is being protective of the observatory. I know I'm clutching at straws here, but it is possible.

You know the page where you can get your star data, well, how did people find that?

How would people find that without the links on here and pet pages?

Would it benefit them?

Everything that you do and that is done in the background is in your internet cache for your browser. I believe someone checked the files and found that page which was probably used by the telescope. That information is used for both of the helper links in the first page of this split.

You would not be the first person to be missing your constellation. There was someone recently where the first to rise could not be found. It would be interesting to know if that got fixed when the farmer update was released.

This may be to do with the fact that the skies appear to be expanding with each release. Maybe for some people, these constellations cannot be found yet, because their sky has not expanded sufficiently.

Also, artfreak, have you tried the constellation finder on the first page? If you can't find it on there, the chances are that it cannot be found.

The person I am thinking of did not show up on Stoodder's page. There was someone else that said some of the stars were beyond what could be selected from the telescope. There is a buffer of about 60 from the far edge of the telescope to some of the stars in the map as seen on darkfire's map.

With the darkfire map, I'm guessing that either star data entered is not totally up to date, or darkfire hasn't expanded the map to fit in the new stars. I'm also guessing that, seeing as Stodder's map has appeared to be accurate so far, then it's just an error from Neopets that not all constellations has turned up on everybody's map. I'm sure after all twelve (or ten?) constellations have been released, all twelve will be visible on everybody's star maps.

I know she draws a box but I am not referring to that. I am referring to the 660 limit in the telescope verses the 710 corner stars visible only on Darkfire's map. There usually are no or very few other stars that far out. I have not gone back to check what the expansion is out to now but I assume it is at least out to 760 or so.

Oh right, I see what you mean. Maybe they're unreleased stars. only visible on the get_star_data page? But, other than that, no ideas, I'm afraid.

Yep, I've tried the constellation finder (great program!) It's not on there either.

Is it just me, or are the constellations getting progressively more difficult to find? The Sleeper was pretty clear on most peoples' maps, but the First to Rise and the Farmer seem to be much more easy to confuse with other star patterns. I might just be imagining things though...

Signature, eh? We'll see about that...

For me it was my easiest yet. But that was just me.

Hmm...I've just been using the constellation finder and Ye Olde Star Mapper. Minimal effort on my part, so I can't say that it's getting harder. :P Maybe you should enlist the help of those programs?

I did, eventually, because I couldn't find the constellations manually, which I could with the first two.
